Irresistible set - bra and panty set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Coralbell

Construction:

The Irresistible set from Leg Avenue is made up of a bra, garter-belt and g-string.

The bra is made of unlined, satin triangle cups with no underwire. The straps are adjustable, and the band is stretchy but has only one plastic hook like those normally found on bathing suit tops. There was a bow between the cups that I didn't like, but it was easily snipped away with scissors.

The garter-belt has a piece of striped satin in the front, and the sides are made from ruched black mesh with fringe hanging down. The sides of the garter-belt are quite stretchy. The garters are made from elastic that is covered in strips of ruffled mesh. There are plastic sliders to adjust the length of the garters, and the clasps that attach to your stockings are made of metal. The pictures show bows on all four garters, but mine only came with bows on the front two. I decided to remove mine, but they were attached more firmly than the one on the bra and were placed over the mesh on the garters, so I had to use a seam ripper and some caution.

The g-string is plain black and made from stretchy material. I noticed that the triangle of fabric is shorter than most g-strings. The seam where the triangle joins to the back strap fell just past my vaginal opening. This isn't very comfortable so I just wear the bra and garter-belt with another pair of black panties.

Fit:

Because the band is not adjustable, the S/M size will work best for those with a 32 or 34 inch band size. It is supposed to fit up to a 36, but it would be a tight fit, and they would be more comfortable in the M/L set.

The bra works best for B cup breasts. It gives me the same amount of coverage and support as a bikini top would. An A cup might find there is a little too much material, and it would fit a C but they are going to have less coverage and might want more support.

The g-string will work better for those on the smaller end of the size chart. I am 38 inches around the largest part of my hips and 35 inches where the top of the g-string falls. It was snug on my hips and dug into my flesh a little.

Because the garter belt ties in the back, it will work for a wide variety of hip sizes, from a tiny 23 inches when tied as tight as possible, up to 40 inches.

Material and Care:

This set is 80% Nylon and 20% spandex. The striped satin is smooth and stretchy, and the mesh and fringe are soft and not scratchy. It should be hand washed and air dried, and can't be bleached or ironed.

My weight has fluctuated since I wrote the original review. This set continued to fit me when I went up to a 34 C with 40 inch hips, although it was a bit more snug and probably wouldn't have worked for anyone larger. I recently wore it to give my boyfriend a lapdance, and I thought having the tassles on the hips shaking around added a lot to the experience. It's not something I wear on a regular basis, but I do like it a lot. It has been washed several times, and has not shown any signs of wear yet.
