This gartered slip and thong made by DreamGirl is a classic addition to anyone's wardrobe. It's a sexy little chemise in stretchy satin with peekaboo mesh paneling. The cups are trimmed with delicate eyelash lace, while the hemline is also trimmed with about 2 inches of scalloped eyelash lace as well. The slip comes with detachable garters and a matching g-string too. The spaghetti shoulder straps as well as the garters are adjustable. The slip closes in the back all the way down with several hook-and-eye closures.


I am a very petite girl (4'11" and 95 lbs) and I'm always having trouble buying lingerie online that will actually fit. Most of the time, the trouble is in the bust, and this chemise was no exception. I fill out a 32B in just about every brand of bra, but the underwire bust on this piece was saggy on me. The underwire provided no support and there is no padding on the cups, just satin and mesh as the rest of the piece is made out of. The mesh paneling on the cups revealed a small amount of nipple.

However, the rest of the chemise fit wonderfully. I did not have to unhook any of the hook-end-eye closures because of the stretchiness of the material; it slipped right on without a problem. The body of the chemise did not sag anywhere and the spaghetti straps are adjustable for just the right fit. On me, the chemise hit about mid-thigh. I don't own any thigh-highs so I wasn't able to try out the garter straps, but in my opinion, the piece works fine without them. The thong that comes with the set is a pretty generic g-string, which was a little loose on me, but it doesn't really change the look of the outfit whether or not you wear the thong.

The feel of this chemise was silky smooth, and very comfortable. It wasn't restricting at all, nor did the underwire pinch. As I moved around, none of the hook-and-eye closures came undone. Overall, the chemise felt well-constructed and durable.

This chemise is made out of 92% Nylon and 8% Spandex. The directions suggest to hand wash in cold water and line dry, which is usually the best choice for lingerie.
