Halter top with g-string - camisole set discontinued by Cottelli - review by Ansley

Speechless, I tell you. That's what I was when I opened the package containing this fabulous outfit from Cottelli. I was seriously doubting my decision when I accepted this assignment, but those doubts are no more. Seriously, the product pictures just don't do this camisole and panty set any justice.

The packaging is a hard, clear plastic envelope with an insert clearly displaying the contents (in fact, it's the product picture used on Eden). You can see a little bit of the model's nipples if you look close enough. When you flip it over, the size is clearly marked on the bottom left corner just above the barcode. You'll notice the primary language is German with English just below that. The directions for care are in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and one other indiscernible language. The garments were folded nicely on top of each other and were easy to remove without snagging the mesh.



The halter-style nude mesh camisole is embroidered with black thread in what the product description calls "tattoo" style. I guess that's accurate, more to the point, I can't think of anything else to call it. There is a little silver rhinestone heart in the center just between the cups. I think it's a very nice touch to the garment, a little sparkle never hurts.

All of the stitching is nice and tight and the embroidery on the halter and cups is reinforced with a very thin elastic strip sewn about half an inch in that goes all the way around the neck strap. The mesh on the inside edge of the cups and halter are scalloped and reinforced with embroidery to prevent fraying or tearing. The top of the polyester panel on the back is reinforced with a spandex/elastic band and this also reinforces the outside edges of the cups and halter.

The thong or g-string panty is made in the same style with the same attention to detail and quality. Three mesh panels with the same black embroidery style are sewn together and then reinforced with heavy stitching at the seams. Thin, clear elastic is sewn into the panty about a quarter of an inch to half an inch away from the scalloped, embroidered edge.

Caring for the garment is really easy. Machine washing/drying, using bleach or an iron is not recommended by the manufacturer, so hand washing it is! The first time I washed this, the colors did not bleed at all and it was dry in no time. I think it took an hour overall. I wouldn't wring this garment out as you may accidentally snag and rip the mesh (it's a stretch, but still a possibility).

I have mad, mad love for this outfit. I ordered a small and was surprised that it fit me as well as it did. As soon as I put it on, it's like my sex-clock starts a countdown and my threshold for being teased goes right out the window. I love how the nude mesh panel adds an elegant touch and gives the right amount of sheer coverage on the breasts. You still feel like you're wearing something because the texture of the embroidery can be felt with every caress. And I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that if you have very dark nipples this is going to excite the hell out of your parnter. The polyester panel hugs my stomach and waist without riding up or making me feel like I have a pooch. There is minimal support in the cups, but I think the panels underneath each breast offer a little bit of support. And it looks awesome on my small frame.



The panties are super comfortable and incredibly sexy. The front panel worried me a bit at first, I thought it was going to be too large, but they fit perfectly. My usual panty size is a 5 or that super rare size 4 panty.

The halter is not adjustable. I don't have too much of a problem with this aspect, but it might bother some women who are small framed but have large breasts. I can see the strap being pulled into the back of your neck and that could be a problem.

My measurements are: 32B with a 26 inch waist and 29 inch hips. I do believe the sizing chart is accurate as there is a little bit of stretch in the polyester panels.

There isn't anything I don't like about this outfit and I will try to wear it as often as I possibly can. I feel like a goddess in it and that's reason enough to me!

I still like it, but my husband doesn't. Since I received this, Eden has added a much larger selection of lingerie that is way sexier than this piece. I do sometimes through it under a light black jacket to wear out in public.
