Polka dot mesh chemise - chemise discontinued by Coquette - review by spookycutie

I was SO excited to receive this, and I instantly RUSHED to try it on and wear it. The ruffles and polka dots aren't usually something I go for, but on this, they're super pretty, flirty, and fun. (The bow is just adorable, and I love that it's optional!) The material is smooth and sleek, both sexy and comfortable.
I was glad to see this wasn't totally see-through; it makes it sexier, in my opinion - leaving a little more to the imagination, and sometimes I like to wear lingerie as everyday clothing! (Though I'm not sure I'd DARE do it with this little number...hehe)

Now, onto the less-than-great...
The one and only flaw...
The cups.
I wear a 34D so I'm really only about average - maybe slightly moreso but not really - and these cups were just TOO SMALL. Even in a size large, if I moved the underwire to where it's supposed to be, my nipples are exposed and well, that takes away a lot of the teasing/sexy fun! If I just let the underwire sit where it wants to, it's several inches too high. While it still looks GOOD, it doesn't look RIGHT. It also takes the comfort level down a notch.
Also, I typically wear a small or medium in things without molded cups. But the size large of this fit me GREAT everywhere except the cups, so I'd suggest that you order a size up! I know the material is intentionally form-fitting and tight, and that it has quite a bit of stretch and give to it, but I didn't have any problems with bunching or excess fabric with the large at all.

All in all, it's lovely and even without the cups fitting, I still intend to wear this for my man at any given opportunity! I'll be seeing him tomorrow, actually...hope he likes it!

Still so cute, but even losing a little bit of weight (yay me!) hasn't helped this fit any better...not that I want my chest to shrink AT ALL, quite the opposite, but it's so cute looking at it just about breaks my heart. Gotta find someone to give it to or sell it on eBay, as it would be a shame to throw it in the trash brand-new and only tried on.
