Open back dress - mini dress discontinued by Espiral - review by Amber1w

Use:
This is a mini dress designed for wearing. The dress has a very sexy design to it. You can wear this dress where ever you feel comfortable. It's not designed to wear somewhere formal; like churches, weddings, funerals or things of that nature. I recommend the dress for club wear, parties, and the bar. Also, you could wear this dress in the bedroom as lingerie or dress up, if you’re not comfortable wearing it out in public.

Material/Texture:
The dress is made from 93% Polyester and 7% Elasten. The dress is very soft and has a lightweight feel when it is on the body. It also has that new smell that all clothing has.

Design/Shape/Size:
This dress has thick tank top straps with a very low V neck in the front. The front also has a seam from the top of the stomach to the end of the dress, this helps with the scrunching detail. This scrunching is from the stomach to the bottom of the dress and only in the front. When you turn the dress over to view the back it is a solid pattern. It also has a very low U shaped scoop. It starts from the neck and in between the shoulders all the way down to the middle of the back. It also has two chains to go along with the U shape scoop. One of the chains is medium sized with a black ribbon going through it, the other one is larger and almost reaches the end of the scoop. Now, this dress is a bit short so I wouldn't do a full bending over or your butt's going to show. This dress comes in two colors black or hot pink and the sizes range from S-XL. Also you can see by the design of the dress that you cannot wear a bra. There is no type of support built into the dress. Another thing I noticed with the dress is that when I wore panties under the dress you can see everything (panties and their lines) through the dress. So my suggestion is to go commando. I'd rather go commando than let people see my panties or lines to my underwear or thong. I put the dress on with nothing under it, had my husband look and he said that he couldn't tell I wasn't wearing panties.

I think that this dress will fit all different sizes. I have bigger hips than what the XL is intended for but it fits me nicely and doesn't feel tight. I could have actually gone with a Lg and it still would have fit me great.

Measurements for the dress-
Length on the dress is 33" starting from the shoulders to the end of the dress (this is the front) which falls 9" from my knees. The length on the back of the dress is 27 1/2", so it is shorter in the back. The V scoop in the front is 15" starting from shoulders to the end of the scoop. The U scoop is 14" from the top of the shoulders to the end of the scoop. The straps on the dress are 3" thick.

Functions/Performance:
It is a sexy mini dress designed to make you look even sexier. This dress seems to be very durable and will last you as long as you want the dress, if taken care of properly. I did give the dress some tugs and didn't hear any type ripping in the stitching. This doesn't mean you and someone else can hold each end and pull.

Care/Maintenance:
You are able to wash the dress if washed separately. I personally will hand wash this dress. Do not bleach this product and it also needs to drip dry. Then you can just hang it up in your closet when it's dry.

Packaging:
I actually have pictures of the packaging for this dress. It comes in a plastic square bag with a picture of the model showing the front of the dress and color you bought. It shows you the dress size, style number, who designed the dress and on the back it has a different model showing the back of the dress in the other color. Also, there are other pictures on the right corner of different dresses that the company designs. Well, I took pictures of the packaging but I had trouble adding them to the review.

When I saw this dress, I knew that I had to have it. I love the colors and the design of this dress. I love showing off my back and this dress makes it easy to do, since a good section of the dress is cut out. It also shows your cleavage. I ordered the Hot Pink in a XL. I could have gotten the dress in a large, but because of a previous dress I got, I was nervous about the sizing.

I'm still in love with this dress and the fit as well. I got to wear it out a couple weeks ago for a girls' night out. I paired the dress with nude panty hose (you were unable to see any lines), black heels, and some simple costume jewelry. It was a big hit. The girls loved the dress, even though some said they wouldn't be brave enough to wear something so revealing. For me that's not the case, this dress is too sexy not to show off. After the night was over, next day I handwashed, hung to dry, and put it back on its hanger. The dress is ready for its next adventure. I still recommend this dress for any woman who likes to show off what they've got.
