Joan chemise and robe - chemise discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by tami

I ordered the 3x/4x in the leopard print chemise and rob the seven til midnight collection, it is made in china. Inside the chemise are two cute pieces of pink ribbon one lets me know that it is a piece from seven til midnight collection, the other tells me that this piece is 97% polyester and 4% spandex and it is made in China. Care instructions say to hand wash in cold water, do not bleach and do not iron, line dry it also. Both pieces are made of the same material and have the same print on them.

The chemise measures from the start of the spaghetti strap to the bottom of the hem is 33" in length. The size is a 3x/4x and my measurements are 52" bust, 52" waist, and a 52" hips, both pieces fit me with no problem at all. The chemise slips on over your head, and the back has a tie to hold it together in the mid back, but the part that covers your butt is all one piece, and it does cover the entire butt. It is not overly snug and allows for some room to move around.

Now, the robe is made form the same silky feeling material which contains 97%polyester and 3% spandex. Again hand wash it no bleaching or ironing and line dry it. The robe is also a size 3x/4x it measures from the top of the shoulder to the hem at 37" long, the sleeve from shoulder seem to the cuff is 16" in length so it is more of a 3/4 sleeve and does not reach all the way to your wrist. There is also a belt that goes with the robe it is same material, but is dark brown in color and measures 81" in length, more than enough room to tie the robe closed.

When this set arrived it was in a simple plastic bag with no hanger or pretty box; no decor to advertise it just folded into the bag. When I ordered it I thought I was ordering a robe only, I have a corset in this pattern and thought it would look great, however when it arrived I was pleasingly surprised to see it had a chemise with it.

Oh man, when I got home from work and found my treasures I slipped right into this piece and strutted around the house, because it was just hubby and I at home. We had a little fun with the camera taking some pictures and after he assured me that I did not look like the world's largest leopard, I found he did like it when we hugged; we could both feel how silky this outfit is and our bodies slid over it pretty easily. It lead to a lot of fun later on in the evening for us.

I am going to have to order another one of these for a back up. I love it and I sleep in it most nights it is so comfy. I use the robe all the time in and out of the hot tub and the shower. It has held up very well and shows no signs of wear and tear or fraying in the stitching no fading in the colors, I do hand wash it and hang dry it to prolong the use of this item. I love it!
