Sort of shiny sexy. 1x/2x
I still love this skirt, but the red and black are completely different. The black skirt can easily accommodate up to a size 26 tightly. The black fabric is more matte than the photo on the website and only has a dull shine. It also is an a-line cut not a fitted one.Published:

Introduction
Coquette makes this skirt in two different colors. I ordered both because I adored them. I figured they would be basically the same thing, and I guess they are if you say that a mini skirt is basically the same as every mini skirt. Sarcasm aside, these are very different skirts because the material is so different which is why I will be reviewing them separately.
Fit
For reference, I am about a size 20-22 depending on brand. I am about 48" at the low hip (ie where a low waistband will sit) and about 51" around the largest part of my hip.
Coquette's size chart lists a 1x/2x of being:
38 - 42" at the waist and 46 - 52" at the hip.
So theoretically, this should be on the tighter side for me. It wasn't at all. Someone easily 3 sizes larger could fit into this skirt tightly. This has a ton of stretch. It sits really low on my hips because of this making it longer than the product photo on me. As I am loosing weight right now I foresee having to take this in very soon.
The product photo makes this look very fitted. It is through the hip, but flares out slightly into an a-line at the thigh. It is very cute, just not what I expected. Also, not a lick of muffin top in this which is awesome!
Fabric and Care
The tag and EF's website list this as made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. Coquette recommends hand washing this and hanging to dry. I have a hand wash feature on me washing machine, so I used that with a mild liquid detergent and hung dry and it is fine.
The material on this is shiny, but looks much less like vinyl than the red skirt. It's mildly shiny, I guess.
Packaging
This came on a plastic hanger with the tag safety pinned to it. It was then sealed in a plastic bag.

I have started liking this less. I still like it, but I've lost a little weight since I received it (still well within the 1x/2x range), and now this is baggy and unattractive. Now I have to take this in, and I haven't even worn it that much. Please order a size down on this.
