The Corset, thong and stocking st by Dreamgirl is versatile, reversible and amazingly beautiful. It is made very well and can definitely be worn out with a pair of jeans, slacks or a skirt. Both sides look equally classy and depending on what look you want, will be a perfect and sexy top. For the bedroom, it is equally amazing as well.

The boning is plastic and wrapped in a nice shiny black Nylon/satin material. There are 8 areas of boning, two on the back, two on the sides and four in the front. They are flexible but do help hold your shape. They bend when you sit down, but straighten out upon standing.

The garter straps are removable and are black elastic bands with the usual plastic slide in clips on the end. The clips are covered with a small, straight black ribbon on both sides. The thong is high quality satin and has a cotton panty liner. I do not wear thongs, so unfortunately that will be left out of this review. The nylons are a good quality, however they are thin and will snag fairly easily. I suggest getting better quality and maybe a bit dressier lace tops to go with this outfit.

The corset is made out of 56% Polyester, 42% Cotton and 2% Nylon. Hand wash in cold water and line dry. I usually use a baby detergent or Woolite.

The lacing is separate for the top and bottom and the laces are black nylon ribbons about 1/4" wide. The bottoms have been melted, but I always re-melt mine for longevity. They do hold the shape very well and are long enough to give you a bit of leeway when lacing them up to fit. It is an open back design, so your skin will show if you do open lacing.

The front has a series of hook and eyes, like the ones on the back of a bra. These are super easy to do up and do not come out when you are trying to hook other areas of the corset. I have so many that you need to kind of hook at the same time or they pop out, this one was seriously refreshing!!

The red side has a shimmery material with very a shimmery threaded scroll design. The boning is black and curved in the front to add to the curvy appeal.This would look lovely at a Christmas event or out on the town. The black side is solid black satin and very soft and shiny. Very elegant looking. The elastic lace at the top is solid threads, and looks very beautiful. It is very soft and not scratchy. The front curves down in the front, accentuating your cleavage and adding a super stylish appeal to this corset.

I did find the comfort of the black side in to be wonderful and the red side in to be a bit scratchy. You can wear a nylon tube to shield yourself from the scratchiness and also to help close any gaps in the back from open laces.

This corset is one of the better ones I have purchased. The quality is amazing, the reversibility makes it a two-for-one corset and the comfort and holding of the shape makes this one highly recommended. Great gift item for a friend!!

There is no fraying of the materials, the seams are in great shape and there has been no fading of the red color. I have worn this many times and it has been washed about 10 times already.

One of the plastic boning pieces did come out the top of the boning wrap on the bask, however, I pushed it back down into place and sewed the top of the wrap shut. The other ones are in great shape.

My plastic boning does get bent and out of shape after wearing this corset for a couple of hours, especially if sitting. i have noticed that if I heat them with a blow dryer and lay flat on a table with a weight on top they go back in shape. I tried the dryer, but there was no weight to straighten them with.

Make sure you store this either hung up or wrapped in a roll around the bonings and flat in a drawer. My measurements are: 43D-31-42 and I weigh 152 pounds, I got the size 40and you can see the fit:
