Garter boyshorts - sexy panties by Leg Avenue - review by Vanessa Weiss

This is one of those products where, upon ordering and receiving it, I wondered "Where has this been my whole life?!" In short, it's absolutely perfect for my use. I wear stockings quite often, and often don't have the desire to wear a garter belt plus (usually uncomfortable) panties over, as I would when dressed for a photoshoot or in lingerie. And now I've found it - a product that finally combines my love of wearing stockings that require a garter belt, with my love of boy shorts for their supreme comfort. And it comes in black, without looking fetishy or sexy. This is strictly cute but utilitarian underwear here and I like that about it.

These soft, stretchy black boy shorts are flatteringly cut, with a cute little bow in the front. They have four garters attached to them and the garters are nice, quality ones. None of this flimsy "lingerie-weight" stuff here. I really love these, though, because I can wear my thigh highs in comfort - many garter belts are slightly uncomfortable due to my body shape, and these panties with attached garters help skip that.

The one downside is that if you are going to be having sex or something, you can't just slip the panties off and leave the stockings on - but hey, I got around that by pushing the panties to the side and gettin' down to business. So, if you're into doin' it while you're still wearing your stockings, you may want to consider a more traditional garter belt. But if you're willing to either pull the panties to the side or take off your stockings when you're gettin' down, you're good to go with these.

They are made of a soft microfiber fabric and breathe very well when worn - I didn't feel uncomfortably sweaty at all when wearing these. The garters are attached to the bottom solidly with a hook-and-loop system (as in, a hook that goes through a loop of fabric). I am only 5'1" and the garters hold up my stockings just fine and are easily adjustable to whatever length I need. I feel as though these may run a little on the small size, given that I ordered (by accident) a medium/large and it still fits me fine, where I usually wear a true medium. However, I wouldn't worry too much - the fabric is quite stretchy and should fit a variety of sizes very easily. The leg holes and waist band were not binding at all and felt quite comfortable, and no part of the underwear dug in to my skin (which is good, cheap panties tend to feel binding).

I love these. That's basically my whole review. Love love love - I want to order at least four more pair. For the price you pay they are absolutely worth it, too.

After having worn a couple pair of these in the desert for a week at Burning Man, I have to say - these are a WINNER. The fabric is breathable (thank god), and the garters hold and hold like their lives depend upon it. I felt secure and comfortable in these, they did not ride up, fall down, drop my stockings or otherwise let me down in any way, which is great, because I really hate worrying about my clothing choices when I'm there.

I lent a pair to a much taller but similarly sized friend and she had no problem adjusting the garters to her preferred length. This may become my item of choice for such events.
