Fuchsia shelf bra set - shelf bra, panty and garter belt set discontinued by Coquette - review by ~LaUr3n~

I was really skeptical that something so skimpy, seemingly un-supportive, and dainty would suit me well. But I was so wrong! I was amazed at how well this fit me. I mean of course it was not a perfect, fit but I felt really sexy, and I am glad that my new confidence made me curious to see if I could pull this set off. My boyfriend was thankful as well haha. This became him favorite piece of lingerie I own, and trust me, I own a lot!

This is such a unique and sexy set. Probably the most unique piece is the lace shelf bra. This was my first time trying one, and it was the source of most of my worry. I have size D breasts, so I really didn't think there was any way this would be supportive; especially since the cup is made of a piece of lace, and the rest of the fabric was so soft feeling.

I ordered a large because of my large chest, but I could have ended up wearing a medium possibly. It fit very well, and didn't distort my chest at all. It was surprisingly supportive until I bent over, at which point I would pop out. But this made for one hot piece of eye candy. They put my perky breasts at even more attention and displayed them beautifully.

The lace was not itchy at all, and I almost felt like I was being supported by air! It is well made as well. Its structure is like a traditional bra, with under wire cups, 2 prong and 3 setting band, and adjustable straps. I only have two small complaints. One is that the under wire seemed to be a bit too short for the space allowed for it. So sometimes it needed to be adjusted before wearing otherwise it would not lay flat. The other is that there was a slightly tacky silver lip charm, hanging from the center of the bra. But I made my piece with that.

Then I slipped on the matching thong. The dimensions of it didn't fit my body as well as I would have liked. The thong was a bit too long. If I wore it the way they intended, it would sit WAY too high on my hips; kind of like a teddy piece from the 80's. I pulled the sides down to fit over my hips. The panties are the same soft breathable material, and were very comfortable. Where the bra could have been downsized, I am glad I got the size I did because by pulling the sides over my hips it was then a glove like fit.

The last piece was the matching garter belt. I had never tried one of these either, because I always thought a girl with curves wouldn't look as good as the stick models that I always saw them on. Well I was wrong again; it looked great hugging my hips! The back of the garter belt has an adjustable feature to make it tighter or looser. My hips are 38" and it was pretty perfect. The garter belt kept the adjusted panties in place.

I wish this set came with stockings as well. I had to use some of my own that didn't work so well with the clasps, but I was able to make my thigh-high fence-nets work. They attach in front and back, and put my rear on just as good a display as my breasts. The finished product was so sexy, and this was confirmed on my boyfriends face when I walked out of the bathroom in my 6" heels; to top off the whole ensemble. I am so glad this worked out so well, because I will now be much more likely to try sets like this in the future.

For being a product made in China, I was surprised by the quality. I still would suggest hand-washing this item and hang drying because of the soft material and delicate lace adornments. Another perk is that it is Nylon and spandex. No shrinking will occur after washing!

I give this sexy lace set 5 stars! I love this brand now and will be looking to get more in the future!

I still love this outfit! I have lost even more weight, but surprisingly the thong is even weirder fitting now. I am unsure of what they were thinking when they designed it. This set has held up well and I have not seen any signs of wear.
