White two tone two piece set - bra and panty set discontinued by Espiral - review by ~LaUr3n~

I originally looked over this set even though I liked it, because of the price. Then it went on a clearance sale and I decided to snatch it up because I love the rouched skirt and two tone coloring that looks great on a tan. I was left with only two options, though: XL pink, and L white. I really preferred the pink over the white because it's more beach or tan in public appropriate, but XL is too big for me. I'm glad I decided to get the L because it fits like it does on the model, form fitted, but not too tight. This set is comfortable and really sexy.

This set is from Espiral. It comes with a triangle bikini top with no underwire or padding. The bottoms are a matching ruched mini skirt with adjustable ties for various skirt lengths. This set is available in S, M, L, and XL. There are two colors choices: hot pink and white.

*Material: Soft, stretchy, silky



This set is made of 93% polyester and 7% spandex (elastano). The material is typical of most other Espiral pieces I have. The material is very soft and smooth and sort of feels like swimming suit material. It has a slight sheen to it. It stretches well and doesn't loose its shape. The white isn't as see through as you might think. It doesn't show the color of areolas (at least not mine), but it probably will show dark hair underneath it. The material needs to be kept away from velcro, but isn't particularly delicate. It isn't very thick, but also doesn't feel like it's going to rip.

*Design/craftsmanship: Made well-enough

All measurements are for the large.

The top is like a typical string bikini with triangle cups. The bottom of the cups were 5 3/4" across and 5 1/2" tall. They are bordered with black. The triangles have the ability to slide so they can fit over breasts of various distances from each other. the cups can also be bunched up so they are smaller or spread so they cover more breast area. The strings of the top are about 3/8" thick. The string across the bottom is ~40" long and very stretchy. The string extending from the top of the triangle cups are 25" long. There is a small tag on the inside of one of the cups. They have no underwire or padding so it will show hard nipples.

The skirt is ruched on the sides. When laid flat the top is 13" across. The very top has a black border of 3/8" thick. The bottom is about 12" across. The band at the bottom is 2 3/4" thick. The sides have a panel of 1" in width that goes down the entire length. The skirt's max length is less than a foot! This is a micro mini-skirt. At the top the sides tucker in slightly making a point. This can be seen in the model picture. The sides have two strings that come out the bottom for pulling and tying to adjust the length of the skirt. I prefer to bunch it up a bit. The bottom can also double as a tube top!

I really wish this came with a matching side tie bikini bottom or g-string!

*Cleaning/packaging: Hand wash, Bag

The set came in a plastic resealable bag with a cardboard insert. It has limited info about the garment. The front shows a model wearing the outfit and the back has similar outfits from the company. The bag is a little small, in my opinion. I wish it were a little bigger.

The set should be hand washed separately in cold water and then hand dried. It believe it would be fine in a protective laundry bag on a cool short cycle.

*Sizing: Runs small as a large, but on the mark for their chart

Because of previous experiences with this company, I've determined that their products are tight and form fitting. A large is most appropriate for me a size ~8 with 34/36 D breasts. I was a bit concerned about the top, that looks small even on a female smaller than me.

According to their size chart a large should fit a 38" bust (measured at the fullest part around the breasts), 29" waist, and 38" hip. I'm wearing an unpadded bra at the moment and my bust measurement is 42". I'm not for sure what my bust size is because it seems to change based on what time of the month it is, but my point here is that I am well above the bust measurement given and I like the fit of this top. At this time of my life, I don't need much support. The ties don't cut into my neck and my breasts actually stay pretty secure in the top.



My hips are about 38.5" around and they fit in the skirt well also. I consider myself to have a proportionate butt, but for someone of the same size otherwise but with a larger booty, the skirt might not cover everything you want it to. It tucks right under my butt.



*Re-done Sizing/BEST fit:

Dress size: 8-10
Cup: B-D
Bust: Up to about 43", certainly more than the given measurement.
Band: 34-38"
Waist: Don't need to worry about this
Hips: 36-39"

I believe the small is bet for sizes 0-4, medium 4-6, and the XL probably is best for a max dress size of about 12/14.

Accessories:

Sadly this does not come with a matching panty. Of the ones available on Eden, [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sexy-lingerie/sexy-bra-and-panties/low-rise-v-string|these seem like an ok choice. Pretty much anything you choose will be seen through the white, unless you choose nude.


Other than panties, I think this outfit would look amazing with white gogo type boots. I like the Delight 2007 pair from Pleaser seen below.



I also found white and black heels that would be cute matches (Blondie 601, 615)



*Conclusion: ★★★★

Other than this being a little too thin and not coming with panties, I don't have major issues with it. The company runs small in general, but there are enough sizes to choose from to find a correct fit. I really like this set and am glad my boyfriend coaxed me to get it! It's comfortable and can potentially be worn out on the beach etc. I don't know that I would do that, especially with owning the white, but I can see the potential.

I still love this set. With the heat I can wear it and just toss a tank over the top. It's not something I'd wear to lunch or anything obviously, but it's perfect for running errands in the heat! My boyfriend loves to see me lounge around in the skirt portion of it.
