Teardrop Lace Petticoat

This petticoat is good quality at a nice price. The stretchy waistband makes it adjustable and comfortable, while still being sexy. It can be worn by itself or under a costume or skirt for added volume and sex appeal.

extremely useful review
The top of this petticoat is made from a soft, silky/satiny material with a stretchy waistband. It's definitely easy to get on and get off, and doesn't slip or slide around once on. It's a snug fit without being tight or constricting--no weird bulges with this one, or red marks after wearing.

The length is perfect, in my opinion. If it's worn at the waist, it's short and great for a sexy addition to lingerie (a schoolgirl outfit, for example), costumes (faerie, princess, Dorothy, Alice, french maid, etc.), or worn by itself. When worn under a skirt, it gives a bit of volume without being too much. Because of the stretchy waistband, it can either be worn at the waist or on the hips--so if it's too short for your comfort, you can just tug it down a bit.

The teardrop-shaped lace adorning the bottom adds a festive touch but doesn't look silly or cheesy. Two layers of stiff mesh give fluffy volume. The mesh is sheer, but with two layers still keeps a bit of mystery even when worn alone.

Also, I noticed that it's not itchy. The slight bit of volume prevents it from touching your skin (except for the soft waistband) unless you're seated. Even then, it's no more uncomfortable than any other garment made of stiff mesh.

With three colors including black, white, and pink, it's easily matchable with whatever skirts or outfits you have. I'm satisfied enough with it that I'll probably purchase a black one as well to go with my darker outfits, since it's not costly.

To care for this garment, try to keep it away from dirt--and I'd advise taking it off before sex, especially the black and pink colors. It has to be hand-washed with no bleach, but can be thrown in the dryer.

I gave this product 5 stars. It's well made, high-quality, and the price is great.
Experience
I plan to wear mine tugged down under my Halloween costume when out in public for a bit more modesty, then hike it up when I get back to the boyfriend's house for added sexiness.
Follow-up commentary
This petticoat is still holding up for me. I've noticed no wear and tear or damage, and I'm happy with how many different costumes and such I've been able to use it with. I like how it fluffs things up a little when you wear it underneath. Also, I wore it once by itself as a skirt (in private, not public; my partner was pleased with the partial transparency and ease of lifting it up.

Congratulations, Miss Jane, on being the first reviewer to have a review on lingerie. And an excellent review it is, by the way. This is a piece of clothing that I never would have thought about, but it makes a lot of sense and it sounds like you'll really make it work for you. Thanks!

LOL. You may be first, but I'm guessing that I'm second! I'm a fan of lingerie. I may switch there instead of toys!

Hehe. I'm a huge fan, too. I'll probably get to the point where I have more lingerie than clothes lol

We could use more lingerie reviews here, I think. I don't wear any myself, but it's good for guys to know what they should pick out for their girlfriends!

You should - it's a lot of fun!
