Lace trimmed chemise gift set - chemise discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by misskat

The lace trimmed chemise gift set is a red see through nightgown and thong set from Leg Avenue. It is part of the Valentine's Day gift collection. It is packaged quite nicely- ideal for non-wrappers. It comes in a hard cardboard box with a Leg Avenue label that slips off.





It ties in the front with a ribbon. Inside, it is wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a cute heart sticker.



It looks very classy and well put together, making it an awesome gift.



The gown itself is made of polyester. It is a bright cherry red with black lace trim. The straps are adjustable, as is the back (it has a bra-type closure with hooks).

The matching thong is also 100% polyester with a poly lace trim. It is not adjustable in any way. It also does NOT have a cotton crotch like most panties do.

Both items are one size fits most. The thong fit me fine, the nightgown was a little less than perfect.

I am on the petite side, about 5'4" and between a size 0-2. I don't know how this can be called a one size fits most. It fit me fine without much extra room. (Note: this is with a black bra under it, and the included thong).

It was also not an overly stretchy material so it would not stretch much larger than it was on me. Unfortunately, it rode up also. I could not get a good photo that showed what it looked like after mere seconds of wear, but it was not pretty. It instantly became bunchy and unattractive.

It also had a huge black tag in the side seam that was ugly, but could easily be clipped out.
This gown just did not fit me well overall.

I think a one size fits most gown is pretty impossible to make, and make flattering. I am disappointed because I was interested in getting a couple of these different little Leg Avenue gift sets. They are all one size fits most though and I think the fit of all of them will be poor.

Even though this was not the most flattering chemise on me, I still wear it occasionally. It doesn't fit great because it is One Size Fits Most. It also rides up a lot, but that is not something that is very noticeable if you are wearing it during sex- it will likely be riding up or getting pulled up anyway!
