I received the Satin Santa Apron Dress just in time for my boyfriend's birthday. It arrived in a postal box, on a hanger and hanging in a plastic dress cover. Upon pulling it out of its plastic covering I noticed the feathers that line the bottom came off fairly easily.
When I put it on it was a bit snug around the rear end but I attribute that to my larger than normal ass. Other than that, it fit very nicely. The fabric ( Acetate ) tends to wrinkle quickly and dry cleaning is recommended. The bust of the dress has soft padded cups with no underwire but surprisingly supports well! At least for me anyway.
Around the top of the bust are more feathers and a pretty white bow in the middle. The closure on the bust is like that of a bra (hook and eye) and around the bottom it's the same. There is a black "belt" that ties as a ribbon around your waist. The straps are like a bra as well, elastic-y and are adjustable. Continuing down the dress there is a belt detailing that one must be careful about.
The metal buckle isn't rounded off so the edges can be quite sharp (I learned this the hard way!). The belt, like I said earlier, ties in back like a bow! Below the belt are two small pockets trimmed in lace and each adorned with a tiny white bow.
The overall quality of the piece is quite nice. It seems sturdy (minus the initial loss of feathers) and fits well.
**I would like to add that once I shook the dress a few times the feathers did stop falling off. Though I wouldn't recommend being too rough with it.**
What I love about this particular piece of lingerie is that one could wear it while hosting a holiday party then wear it at night for some naughty “gift giving” with your partner!

I still love this apron dress! It is working out even better with the oncoming holiday season. My grandma even loved it when she noticed it hanging on my lingerie hook in my bedroom.
I have worn it several times, and the quality is holding up. No torn seams, no more lost feathers!

1. Might anyone on EF staff know when this will be back in stock? If it is going to be a bit I might make my big order and order this one separately (so the other stuff will be in stock).
2. What is the last day to order for people in the US to receive items by Christmas? The shipping (once at the PO) isn't what I am worried about...more worried about what date the items will ship. -

I just put in an order last week, and like always, it shipped the day after it was put in. So that's not a problem. I'd be more concerned about the postal system. My items normally take two days to get to my house, but they took five days instead because of all of the Holiday shipping. I'd say, realistically, you want to place that order Thursday or Friday at the latest to hopefully get it with regular shipping.
And to ask about stuff in stock, EF staff usually doesn't know, but submitting a support ticket gets you the answer within 24 hours. I do it with items all the time. :)

Usually Christmas lingerie doesn't appeal to me, but dang! Your review was just stunning and I loved reading. This is actually so darn cute! I don't know if it's the model in the photo's figure that's making it look so appealing to me or what, but I like, like, like! Thanks for such a useful review. I hate that the feathers fell off some, though. I think this would look so adorable with a pair of black leggings for public wear. Very nice review. Is the fabric thin or heavy or in between? Sorry for my weird-o question, just curious.
Good review! I didn't know this was Acetate... I hope the feathers don't keep falling off in time, though. Are they sewn in or do they look glued in?
Kendra, the material is very sturdy, but it isn't too heavy. I would call it "inbetween"
tigerkate, the feathers are tacked with a few stiches every few inches or so.
