The Little Black Fishnet Dress

I've been wanting this for a long time, so as soon as it was in stock for the first time, I snatched it up. It's a great one size fits most item, especially when compared to the original size chart. The center solid panel also helps to flatter many figures because ti draws the eye in and slims the waist.

extremely useful review
It's been months and months since I first saw this on the site, but it hadn't become available til a week or two ago. I ordered it as soon as I got the "it's in stock" email. I just love that the design is simple, curvy, but still unique with the center panel. Leg Avenue doesn't have the highest quality things, but they are affordable and often can be cute and sexy if you fit into them. Because of the high stretch of the material, this really is a pretty good one size fits most item.

*Contents/overview: One piece, size: OS

This one piece fishnet dress is from Leg Avenue. It features a halter style top , mid thigh length, and front panel.

*Material: Good but delicate

This dress is made of the same type of material that Leg Avenue stockings are made of. They are 97% nylon and 3% spandex. There is a lot stretch in this! It doesn't get stretched out though. It always returns to its original shape and size. The material is almost as delicate as a pair of stockings so this material will only last long if you treat it right. It is soft and not abrasive against the skin.

*Design/craftsmanship: Good

The dress is mostly fishnet and a normal fishnet size at that. You can see through both the fishnet and center panel. It's a mini dress that has a very simple shape and design. The top has a bias cut and bikini style cups. The cups are not flat, but rather domed slightly to allow for larger chests. What I really like about them is that the inner edge is lined in a pretty lace that brings the eyes to cleavage. It's also a unique pattern. The lace has little flowers with circles around them. This is not a pattern I have seen before. Attached to the very top of the cups is a thin spandex strap. The straps tie behind the head in a halter style. The back lies right under the shoulder blade and gives a sexy half bare back look.

The rest of the dress is like a tube. It will have curves if you have curves and conforms well to them. Unstretched, the solid panel that goes down the middle of the dress is 5" across. The back is solid fishnet and shows your sexy tush through the fabric. The front mostly blocks your down south naughty area, but could be more obvious if you have pubic hair (of which I do not). The very end of the dress has a crude seam. I wish it had the same lace trim that the bust has. Depending on your height the dress will fall between knee and high thigh. For me it was in the middle, like it is on the model.

*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash warm

The package says to hand wash in warm water. This is probably to preserve the black color. The package is a little box that can be reused. It is best lie this flat and air dry.
Experience
*Sizing: Very accurate and true to chart

At such a cheap price, I wasn't worried too much about how bad the fit would be. I just lost some weight and dress sizes, so while it was a shot in the dark, I figured it would be a pretty good fit since, in the past, OS pieces from Leg Avenue have run a tad small. It ended up being pretty good.

I weigh ~145 pounds (size ~7/8); curvy but fit. The one size fits most says it fits a 6-11 dress size, A-C cup, 32-38" bust, 23-29" waist, 34-40" hip. It fit me well and I am in the mid or high part of the ranges. It has a very form fitted appearance. So if you are larger than me and don't like this, you should steer clear.

The bust fit my 34/36 D breasts just fine, but if you are larger, you might find that the lack of support is unflattering. If you are smaller than a full B, the cups might bunch. The straps didn't offer much support but did keep the top up and didn't put strain on my neck.

The body of the dress fit to me well and accented my waist. I don't have an issue with showing my tummy, but have in the past, so I do know that the panel can help those who might be self conscious. It also flatters the figure by drawing the eye in. The dress fit my 30" waist fine and was okay on my 38" hips. I was not uncomfortable at all. The only part I didn't like was the very bottom. It felt tight around my thighs. This is another reason I wish it had the lace trim.

MY RE-DONE SIZING CHART:

Dress: 4-10
Cup: C-D
Band: 32-36"
Waist: 24"-30"
Hips: 34-38"

*Conclusion: 4 Stars

For the price, this piece is a steal for many sizes. It is form fitted which I love and while it doesn't fit perfectly, I still felt sexy. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes form fitted pieces and don't mind no additional bust support.
Follow-up commentary
This lingerie piece has surprised me with its durability. It has been worn a handful of times and is still just as nice as the day I got it. It hasn't been torn or snagged either. I've found that this piece can be worn as a sort of slip underneath dresses. I love using it that way.

Another great review. I was on the fence about adding this to my wish list because of the sizing on the breast, but now I am definitely adding it. Thanks for the info.
