The Powernet Bustier was a Bust

Overall, this is a nice piece, however, I don’t like where the straps are situated, and a bit more support on the cups would be nice.

The Powernet Bustier is a nice sturdy piece from Coquette which comes with garters and a g-string. I chose the small, and it is available in sizes small through XL.

The bustier is made of 82% spandex and 12% nylon, so it is quite stretchy. It is very thick and durable, so it should last a long time. The material is black and see through, so this is something I would not want to wear out. It has five pieces of plastic boning which will bend if not stored properly. For this reason, this piece should be hand washed or spot cleaned, and hang to dry. There are hanging straps on each side which serves this purpose well.

The back has 18 hook and eye closures, and there are two rows of them for further adjustability. The cups have a vertical seam on them which will probably not bother most people, but I do not like seams on bra cups. It’s just one of my things. The cups are padded but they have no underwire. The straps join behind the neck with a single hook and eye closure. The straps are very stretchy, and I found them to be too long to offer any breast support. Also, the straps are sewn into the cups very far apart, they are almost in my armpits and this is to give the maximum cleavage possible.

The g-string is very sexy. It has two square cut-outs in the front, and doesn’t dig in at all. There are also 4 garters with metal clasps. The length of the garters can be adjusted like any typical bra strap.

The small is very tight on me, which it should be, but I can still get it on and off by myself. I am a size 4, 34 C, and 118 lbs, so if you are a bit larger than me, definitely order up a size.

If you want to show off your curves, and create quite the cleavage, then this is probably the lingerie piece for you.

    Thanks mcw.

@Pleasure piratess as long as you're not shy about showing clevage, it's way too showy for me.

Plastic boning never works for me. It always gets really wonky looking.

Thanks for the review! I saw this while I was looking at the corsets and bustiers earlier and thought it was really cute. I'm a 38 DDD, so I don't think this would work for me. I wouldn't have been sure had I not read your review. Thanks again!
