Lace panel chemise & g-string black - chemise and panty set by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Do emu

Overview:

This set by Fantasy Lingerie comes with a black chemise and a black G-string. I was so excited to see if this lingerie piece would work for me. I'm always very skeptical of lingerie pieces and am usually disappointed, but this was a pleasant surprise for me. It hugged my curves nicely and didn't accentuate anything I didn't want to have accentuated. I appreciate the adjustable shoulder straps, as I have a short torso and always need the straps to be on the shortest setting possible.

Packaging and storage:

The set came hanging on a plastic hanger covered in plastic. If taken proper care of, they can be reused and are suitable for storage. This piece also doesn't wrinkle much, so you can also fold it and place it in a drawer.

Material and care:

The chemise is 100% polyester on the back and the sides, and lace in the middle. It is very see-through where the lace is, and a little see-through where the black is.

The tag says, "machine wash warm, gentle wash darks separately, tumble dry low, remove promptly, do not twist or wring." It is made in China.

The lace is a beautiful flower pattern and is not scratchy at all. The bottom trim is stitched and should not come undone easily. The bust trim of the lace is cut a little roughly, but it isn't noticeable unless you look closely. So here is a close-up.



The panty this set comes with is nothing special. It's a triangle G-string made of polyester. I was hoping for a cuter panty to go along with this chemise, but for the price, I'm not complaining much.



Sizing:

This chemise comes in six sizes: small, medium, large, extra large, 2X, and 3X. I love how many sizes it includes, and I think a lot of people can wear this item. Here is Fantasy Lingerie's size chart:



According to the size chart, I should be a medium. I usually wear a size 10 and a 34D cup, and the rest of my measurements are right in the middle for the chart. I would recommend choosing the size that would fit closest to your true size as this fit me perfectly.

Quality/Experience:
When I first got this item, I was really happy about the quality. For the price, it seemed like a great buy. The material was very soft and I wanted to sleep in it. Most importantly, I felt super sexy in it!



Sadly, the second time I wore it was during intercourse and that's when both of the shoulder straps ripped. Once I repair the straps, I'll make sure to be a little more delicate with this item. I didn't even notice they ripped until afterwards.

Despite this setback, I think this is a wonderful buy. I recommend it for its comfort and sexiness. I might even buy another one!

I really like this chemise. After repairing the straps and reinforcing the loops, I find it stays in place very well and is super comfortable to sleep in or to lounge around as well as to wear during sexy time. If you don't mind taking a few minutes to reinforce the back stitching on the straps, it's a great piece.
