Sheer stockings with front bow - hosiery by Coquette - review by ohdearashbee

These stockings are just lovely. They aren't too sheer or way too long and they're not scratchy at all.

They come wrapped around two cardboard pieces inside of a clear plastic insert. The "informative" cardboard piece shows a picture of them and the name and the backside says "flirt with style" and lists the coquette website. It also says that they were made in china.

These are one size fits all and they're stretchy so its hard to give a real length... but I am 5'4 and these comfortably hit me right under my butt cheek. If you have longer legs you might even be able to wear them as stockings with a back bow, but for me the bows get mushed by my butt so thats a no go. The bows on these stockings are quite large on me since my legs are little, but they don't go past the width of my thigh or anything. Should you not like the bow but still like the feel of the stockings the bow can easily be removed without ruining the nylons with a few snips of the bright red string holding them on.

These are nylon stockings and they seem like they're going to do really well. They don't feel excessively thin and they are super comfy. Compared to some of my other brightly colored nylons these feel great. Coquette obviously holds the feel of their products as something of importance. I might not take them off after this review. Because they are just stockings though I would recommend hand washing them. My washer tends to try to eat my lingerie. Also, the bow, while it doesn't seem like it would fall off during wear might take too much abuse in your washer machine.

I'm not sure what else to say about these really except that I look forward to wearing them today (the bows under my skirt as a surprise for later) and writing my experience section! To be continued...

These stockings stay up really well. I have chicken legs and the elastic kept them so that they barely moved all day. The elastic does bunch a bit at my butt, but since it's under my butt cheek who cares. The bow is still on, my legs looked great, and the night went well.

I will write about how they do after a washing or two in my follow up review, but these stockings have definitely given me an interest in checking out the rest of the coquette line.
