For Christmas, I decided to surprise my man with a new piece of lingerie. His favorite colors are red and black, and considering nearly every piece of lingerie I own is black, I figured I would find something in red to further entice him.
When I saw the Red Lace Courtesan Chemise from DreamGirl, something inside of me sparked. Now, I usually do not look twice when there isn't a plus-sized model wearing a piece I like, because in the past, that usually leads to disaster. This piece, however, I couldn't take my eyes off of so I ordered it anyway.
Looking back, I am glad I followed my gut. This piece has quickly turned into my favorite piece of lingerie in my growing collection. The material is super soft to the touch, it hugs my 'girly curves' in all the right places, and just emits this aura of elegance and nobility.
My measurements are as follows:
Bust: 47in (C cup)
Waist: 41 1/2in
Hips: 53 1/2
DreamGirl's size chart shows the 3x to be the following measurements:
Bust: 48 - 54 (DD cup)
Waist: 40 - 44
Hips: 50 - 56
So, I placed my order!
Here are the measurements laying flat:
Bust, 19 inches
Top of side to bottom, 23 inches
And from one side of the bottom hem to the other, 26 inches

It is a combination of nylon and spandex, so hand wash in sudsy warm water, and hang to dry. I personally prefer to dry my lingerie laying flat on a towel. Some articles can lose their shape if they are hung to dry.

Experience
My man said he fell in love with me all over again when he first experienced me in this chemise. He complimented on how it hugged all the right places, made me more confident, and in turn, even more sexy than he thought.
I have no favorite part of this chemise, but I'd like to highlight some of it's pluses.

This is still my go to piece in my lingerie wardrobe. After being worn countless times, washed just as many and treated a little roughly during certain times, it's still in immaculate condition. Even though I'm nearly 5 months pregnant, and showing more than I feel I should be, this piece never fails to make me feel sexy.
