Wet look thigh high stockings - thigh highs by Coquette - review by LambChop

These "Wet Look" thigh-high stockings by Coquette are HOTTTT!! We all know how hot thigh-high boots are, especially in the patent leather look...this is the same look. Paired with some patent or other black leather heels, these stockings lend a super-sexy look to any sexy outfit. Other reviewers have mentioned these in combo with the wet look booty shorts, but I'm dying to try this with a minidress and my patent leather hooker heels!! My guess is that paired together they will look like long tall shiny boots! YUM.

The fabric is unlabeled, but the EF description lists these as nylon/spandex, and that rings true. The stockings are matte black on the inside, resembling bathing suit fabric, and shiiiiinyyyyyy black on the outside. There is a very fine and soft elastic band around the top (about 1/4" wide). This band is flexible and not stiff.

These give the sexy look of wearing vinyl, without the plasticky feel. Genius! The packaging is standard pantyhose fare, flat cardboard in a clear cello wrap with a photo insert. The care instructions are of the 'universal laundry instructions' type, meaning there are some symbols that I deciphered/looked up. The care instructions translation is as follows:
- hand wash
- do not tumble dry
- do not bleach
- do not dry clean
This leaves you with 'hand wash, lay flat to dry' in real terms. Easy enough!!

I ordered the "one size fits most" and they fit perfectly. I'm a 6 or 8 pants, and I was a little worried that these would cause muffin top thighs, but they're fine. The fabric is stretchy and firm enough to stay up, but not so stretchy that it cut into my thighs. If you're larger than a 'large' there's a plus size version as well. There is a slight leg shape to the stockings, but that is very slight. The toe seam is short (about two toes wide) and very square, and could look a little funny in open-toed shoes, but tucked under the toes or in closed-toe pumps, this should be no problem. These are very comfortable to wear, and do not feel sticky or sweaty like real vinyl hose would.

Overall, I would say these are a great buy; they are super-sexy and seem to be well-made. Getcha' some!!
