Wild night corset and thong - corset discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by jessi2

I ordered this corset because I have been looking for a starting off point for ordering lingerie from Eden Fantasy's, and did not want to spend too much. The order came early, as usual with Eden, and my fiance was very excited to open the box knowing yet another exciting new mystery lay waiting inside.

When she reached the plastic bag holding the corset, she smiled from ear to ear as she pictured how much fun it would be to "play" that night. She thought that it was very pretty, and told me how great I would look in it (definitely a turn on!). I held high hopes for this piece, as I had previously read several good reviews, but each woman is unique, and I guess it was not the right fit for me.

I opened the bag, and looked over the product. As it came out of the bag, I noticed that ink from when it was dyed had soaked from the garment into the plastic bag, leaving the plastic discolored, and showing that you get what you pay for.

I ordered the 3X/4X knowing that I have DDD's (not on the 7 til midnight size chart), and not wanting another piece to show up too small, thus having to donate it to a friend who is smaller. I guess I over estimated myself because the top was too big. It was still a bit big even after tightening the lacing all the way up and down. I would say that this was true to size, since they recommend the 3X/4X for 46 - 50 band size in the bust, D-DD. The issue for me is that even had I ordered the smaller size, the flaws of the garment would have still not allowed me to like this product.

Made from polyester and spandex, I figured that the fabric would be forgiving to my not so cute parts, but the top does nothing for shaping or supporting my 38 DDD breasts. The boning in the top is very flimsy and feels like it is made from thin plastic. This piece would be far better suited for a woman with breasts on the smaller side. I say this because if you want to wear it alone, with no bra, it will not provide any support. The fabric is more stretchy in the back four panels than in the front, so I would suggest ordering a size smaller, since the fabric has a good bit of give. It is not reversible, since it has hook and eye latches and not a zipper.

The thong was the correct size for me, I wear a size 7 in underwear, but it was not flattering at all. The cut of the front of it just did not cover me in the right places.

Do not get me wrong, it is a beautiful piece. Stunning when I got it even partially on, but looks can be deceiving. The piece just has several flaws with the way it is put together.

The garters are not spaced evenly nor are they sewn in securely. There is a difference of two inches in placement where the two in the front should be. One falls perfectly in the middle of the leg in the second section of the corset like in the picture and feels comfortable holding up the stocking; while the other garter is almost on the outside hip area, in the third section of the corset; and rubs against you when you walk to model the outfit. My fiance noticed the difference, and she could generally care less about that type of thing.

I struggled getting the piece on. There are many rows of eye hooks, and since I am rather shapely up top, it was hard to get all of the hooks latched without others coming undone.

Frustrated, I gave up and asked my fiance to help me, inevitably killing the mood. I struggled, she struggled, we struggled as a team, and then I finally just gave up and went to bed unfulfilled.

I did not like this piece at all, and feel ripped off for having bought it.

Since the original review, I did not try the corset on again. I could not get this to work for me in any way. I returned it to EF since it did not get used, to get a refund to purchase a better product.

I did get some valuable experience in ordering lingerie. I am kind of picky when it comes to lingerie. I love wearing pieces that make me feel confident and sexy. This one did not do that for me.
