White lace and satin corset - corset discontinued by Coquette - review by tami

The awesome white corset is in a size 3x/4x and is from the coquette collection. This is only one of a few items I own from coquette but I love this one very much and I am super excited that I purchased this item.





Oh wow! this corset is so awesome, When it arrived it is on a nice satin wrapped hanger with a cute bow that reads "Coquette". The hanger has little tacks on the edges and they are used to loop the strings around and hold the corset up on the hanger while it is in storage.

There is a floral pattern on this piece and it is all white. It has removeable garters and shoulder straps on it that are a different color white then the corset is. The seams are all in place and evenly stitched nothing out of place and there are no snags, tares, or fraying anywhere on this beautiful piece. I kicked this piece around for al,most a month before I ordered it and I thought it would look nice since warmer weather is coming and a sun tan is in my future I thought this would make my tan stand out even more.





The front of the corset is held together with eye hook closure (like on our bras) and the back has strings that lace up and tie to hold the back together and allows for a lot of room to adjust the strings. laying out flat the corset is measured as follows:
Chest (top part): 19 inches
Waist(middle part): 17 inches
Hips(bottom part): 20 inches
Length of corset (armpit to bottom): 15 inches
Length of corset (down center back): 14.75 inches
Length of corset (down center front): 14 inches
The corset has 6 pieces of plastic boning in the front and 6 in the back there is also 1 on each side for a total of 14 pieces of boning. The garter straps are 6.5 to 10.5 inches at their longest and their shortest. The shoulder straps are about 7.5 to 15.5 inches also at their longest and their shortest. The loops where the garters and shoulder straps attach are hidden on the inside of the corset so if you choose not to wear them they are not showing.

These are just some photos to show the pattern and the eye hooks that close the front. This corset is made very well it is sturdy and strong and will last for a long time.

My measurements are 50 inch bust, 50 inch waste, and a 50 inch hips, and there is enough adjusting in this that I could have ordered the 1x/2x and fit it without a problem.
