(XL) Not for the Plus Size Gal
For a smaller woman who doesn't have a tummy that sticks out, this is an attractive piece. If you don't have large breasts, this is a nice piece also and the cups are comfortable.
But if you have any extra fat in your tummy or rear, I'd stay away from this piece...far far away.

I find that many times a Coquette 1x/2x doesn't work as well for me as I'd like because their perception of a plus size woman means "big breasts". Unfortunately, my breasts aren't as large as their 1x/2x cups so I frequently look funny in the breast area.
I chose three items and bought them in XL to see if I could move down to that size for Coquette. Two items passed the test - one didn't. This is the one that didn't.
You will see it modeled by both my daughter and myself since she is somewhat smaller than I am.
What it is … how to wear it
This is a babydoll and probably should be kept in the bedroom since it is so sheer. It does have padded cups and underwire support.
This item is currently available at Eden Fantasys in: S,M,L,XL, 1x/2x. The only color it is available in is black.
Packaging
This came in a plastic bag with a clear plastic hanger. The G-string was attached to the hanger along with the item.
Material & Care
This is 100% polyester and should be hand washed and hung to dry. I would wash it in the washing machine on delicate cycle with cold water while using a lingerie bag. The bow at the top near the cups is detachable since it is on a pin.
Design, Sizing & Fit
According to the sizing chart, my bra should be 42-44D, my waist 34"-36" and my hips 44"-46". .
I am currently 275 pounds, wear 18-24 tops, wear 44D bra, with a waist of 49”, hips of 57” and a torso of 18-19” long.
Based on these measurements this item should not fit me in the waist and hips at all. Amazingly enough, that was ok and it was the bust that gave me problems!

First of all, I will state upfront that I am prejudiced against this piece. It isn't that it doesn't fit because I thought it might not. But it's just NOT comfortable. The lace feels scratchy to me and I am used to soft lace. I think it is because there is no spandex in this item.
From 1 to 5 with 5 being most comfortable, I'm giving it a 2. The cups of the breast are comfortable, even if the straps don't fit me.
Final Thoughts
Plus size girls should not go down a size for this and I really don't think you should try it even in a 1x/2x. There are two reasons for this. For one thing, it has very little stretch to it because there is no spandex in it. However, the main thing is that the lace doesn't cover up your figure flaws enough. It is too see through. A mesh skirt would have been much nicer.
So if you're plus size, leave this piece for the smaller gals and let them enjoy it!

I can definitely understand-- when a piece is uncomfortable, and you don't feel sexy in it, it's a total bust!
Coquette can get wonky in their sizing, I think this shows it pretty well. I mean, there isn't a long/wide enough skirt to it... I think it looks good on both of you, but I know it COULD look better!
