My partner and I had very high hopes for this set. Between our love of corsets and the color of this set, it looked like it would be a lot of fun. The key word here is ‘looked.’ For all it had going for it, this set underwhelms to a very high degree. As always, the packaging from Eden Fantasys was top notch, and the package arrived quickly and in pristine condition. My partner and I were relieved to see that the color was noticeably darker than what it looks like in the picture. It means well and does its best to thrill, but simply falls short of many other products.

The first thing that turned us off to the set was the utterly terrible pair of thigh highs that were included. They were flimsy and cheap at best. Not only that, but the color did not match with the set (This is saying something from me, as I am partially colorblind and still noticed that it did not match). If you do intend on buying this set, plan on getting another pair. We decided to forgo them and continue the setup of the outfit. And I’m not exaggerating when I say that there was setup involved. The first order of business was to remove the straps that would have held the stockings in place. This took us somewhere around 5 minutes to do. I think that speaks for itself. Next on the agenda was to fix the lacing on the front of the corset. Fresh from the line, it was laced in every third hole, giving it feet of slack and not enough support. We had to completely re-lace the front, which again took several minutes. During the course of putting it on, we realized that it was also entirely too small for the advertised size. Take our advice and buy a size up if you’re interested.

The one high note was the panties that were included. They were thong style, with lace trimmings in the front. Again, they were a tad small for the size, but were sexy nonetheless. There was also a two tiered bust style that had some potential. It would have looked good if it had worked properly. I imagine that less endowed women would benefit more from this. As it stands, the outer layer covered over the inner bra and didn’t really do much for the look.

Overall, the material was of good quality, and it gave the set a smooth, sleek feel that you don’t find in cheaper sets. It’s a shame that with the quality of materials used, the construction wasn’t better. The difficulty in setting it up and the poor design is really what made this subpar in our minds. Sizing issues are common in lingerie, but it is still something to mention. In the end, this was just not worth the $50 that this set costs.

It's not that this is a terrible set, it has a good look to it, and good materials. It just doesn't work well as a set. The design and construction are lacking, and it really shows in the long run. We've all but abandoned this set for some of our others. A good try, but still not worth it.
