10 function flop

The bullet in the teaser is stronger than you'd think after using it in contoured "scoop" area. The "scoop" is uncomfortable, but the functions are great, and the toy is exceedingly quiet.
Published:
Pros

Use

The 10 function C-teaser by California Exotic Novelties is just that, a clitoral teaser. I would imagine that this toy would be best for beginners because it does not have much power at all, but offers an array of stimulation patterns. There is nothing insert-able, it is meant just for stimulating the clitoris. You could use it to stimulate the nipples as well, but definitely not the anus, it is just too big!

The C-teaser would best be used during foreplay, and not at all during intercourse. The size of the stimulator would block the vagina from penetration and I can't imagine it would be at all comfortable.

Material / Texture

Upon opening the box, there was a very slight smell, not unpleasant, just kind of rubbery. I washed it with toy cleaner and the smell mostly went away. There was no taste. The teaser itself is made of smooth tpr, it feels like smooth rubber but almost has a grip to it so that its not slippery, unless you add lubricant. The material does attract EVERYTHING though, so make sure you keep it away from fuzzy blankets, towels, etc or you will be picking fuzz off of it forever. My husband and I have quite an array of TPR toys and this one seems to attract the most fuzz.
The teaser is somewhat flexible around the bullet, but still feels pretty firm and rigid when it is against my body.
Also because TPR is a porous material you should put a condom over the teaser if it is to be used for multiple people.

Design / Shape / Size

When I took the toy out of the box I was shocked at its size. I never in my wildest dreams thought that it would be this BIG. The teaser portion of this toy is concave, contoured for the female body. Strangely, as specialized as it is, I didn't like the feel of it. By my measurements the teaser is 3.5 inches in length, 2 inches across at the widest part, and 1 inch across at the narrowest. It is triangular in shape and gets larger at the bottom. The bullet is inside a specialized pocked on top of the teaser and can be removed. There is approximately an inch of TPR material between the bullet and the stimulating surface.

The bullet itself is 2 inches long, 1 inch wide, and of plastic construction. All parts seem to be fairly well built.

The controller of the teaser is 5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and is connected to the bullet by 32.5 inches of cord. It is made of pink plastic with a darker pink panel for the buttons.

I was really disappointed in the cord placement of this toy. I think the obvious spot would have been to put the cord on the smaller end with the bullet pointing down, but it is on the opposite end. So the cord is at the bottom, with the bullet facing up. It just felt awkward to me. Also, once I got the toy in place it felt HUGE. The teaser seemed to take the entire area from thigh to thigh up and was hard to keep in place.

In no way could one consider this toy discreet. With the long cord, the controller and the large vibration surface it is pretty obvious as to what it is.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations of this toy are located in the tip of the bullet, but it is hard to feel them through almost an inch of TPR. There are 10 functions but a lot of them feel very similar through the TPR...very minimal. When I pulled the bullet out of the TPR casing I was shocked to feel how much vibration the bullet actually had! Its a moderately strong vibration on high, but through the TPR it felt so minimal.

There is a dedicated power button, a "function" button, and an indicator light on the darker pink panel. The teaser is easy to operate, and the light turns colors and blinks in time to the speed/pattern of the vibrations. For example, when you first turn on the vibrator the light is green and it is a low steady vibration, if you push the function button the light turns orange and the vibration is on medium, another push of the button turns the light red and the vibrations to strong. There are 7 other speeds/patterns of varying speeds and pulsations of the vibration. One thing to take note of is that if you accidentally push the button you have to cycle back through all of the other 9 functions to get to the desired one.

This toy is advertised as waterproof. I was too paranoid to try it in the water. The cord looks like it should not go in the water and there is NO WAY that the battery pack is waterproof as it lacks waterproofing seals.

Both with the bullet in the TPR and out of it the toy is pretty quiet, though it is nearly silent in the tpr casing.

Care and Maintenance

Because the C-teaser is made of TPR it is pretty easy to care for. You cannot sterilize it, but you can use toy cleaners on it as well as soap and water.

The operations manual says to only use water-based lubes, though most TPR can be used with silicone, so I would be sure to test it first.

I keep toys like this one either in separated compartments in my "pleasure chest" or in plastic ziplock bags.

Packaging

The 10 function C-Teaser was packaged in a cardboard box, which is thicker than most packaging boxes, but still will probably not hold up that long or that well. I would look for other suitable storage options. The box is not very appealing, just a standard "toy" box with a woman on it as well as a photo of the product itself.

Experience

I tried this toy multiple times and just could not get comfortable with it. The cord was still in a strange spot and the width of the toy was uncomfortable.

My rating for the vibrations with this are for the toy as a whole, with the tpr part on the bullet.
Follow-up commentary
Well, after a few more uses the thing died...maybe 6 uses total? It was never all that earth shattering, but it just quit functioning for no reason, as far as I can tell... it has since gone out with the trash
