The 5x Finger Vibe is one of many tiny finger vibrators on the market that literally attach to a finger. This is the first vibrator I've tried that I can use for a long period of time without getting numb.

It has an infinitely adjustable speed dial, plus five settings foreplay, tease, pulsation, vibration, and climax. The vibe also comes with two sets of batteries, and being greedy, I like a toy I can start using immediately. It's very reasonably priced ($15.99), so if you're not sure how you like vibrators, this is a great place to start.

What didn't appeal to me were the four covers, made of PleasureSkin, an elastomer-based material extremely porous and difficult to clean. Oh, they're well-designed. Three have different-sized nubs, and the fourth has raised ribs. And the material is pleasantly soft, which feels very nice against the skin. But it has such a strong odor I had to kick the covers not just out of bed, but out of the bedroom.

If you don't mind the scent, use a little water-based lube inside the covers before placing them on the vibe. I neglected to do that and wrestling the cover off took me multiple attempts and made me feel like a scene from "I Love Lucy." (And put some lube on the outside of the cover as well to make the sensation even better.) The vibe itself, of hard plastic, is definitely a keeper.

If you don't have a finger vibe of some kind, you should. You can take it with you anywhere, and it's small enough to be used during penetration. These are also great for men; a friend uses a fingertip vibe on his balls while jacking off and absolutely loves the increased sensation.
