Rechargeable beaded butterfly - rabbit vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by ~LaUr3n~

The rechargeable beaded butterfly isn't for the faint of vagina. It is for the more experienced woman, who likes intense vaginal stimulation, g-spot stimulation, and clitoral stimulation. This rabbit...or should I say butterfly vibrator can provide all three, and even at the same time! Hows that for multi-tasking? I wouldn't recommend this for the inexperienced in larger toys, rotation, or high vibration. This vibrator has a few different speeds and options, so if you want to cater the experience, you can. This toy also is rechargeable and doesn't take batteries! It comes with everything you need to power it, but you'll have to be patient to do so. It takes a LONG time to charge.

I wasn't too excited about the material being jelly, but actually it seems of higher quality. It feels firmer, less sticky, and stronger. It also has next to no smell! I don't know how this was achieved, but I'm really glad lol. The vibration transfer through this material is great. The head is firm, but still slightly flexible and forgiving. The butterfly is also made of the same material, it is firm but yet soft and flexible, especially the wings and antenna. The base is made of plastic and so is the charger stand. This plastic has a matte finish and is very velvety smooth to the touch.

The top of the head has a ribbed texture that I didn't notice adding any extra sensation. The butterfly also has raised dots on it that also didn't add anything for me. Around the shaft, the jelly is thin enough to be able to feel the rotating beads.

This thing is mammoth in size! From tip of the head to the bottom of the control base, it is over 10 inches long. There is only 5 inches of insertable length though, this is good for beginners, but the thickness might not be. The majority of the shaft is 4 3/4 inches in circumference. The head is slightly thicker at 5". This is on the thicker end of my toy collection and when I had my first rabbit vibrator of similar size, it was too big for me. So, I wouldn't recommend this for beginners. It took me a year to get used to that first one. It is possible that you could work up to this if it is something you want to try.

The attached butterfly vibrating bullet is a bit cumbersome and awkward. The butterfly is almost half the size of the vibrator! The antenna should stimulate the clit, while the large wings stimulate the outer vulva. If that isn't enough for you, the shaft has 5 sets of internal rotating beads and the head swirls as well. The overall design looks nice and looks like it may work for some women. But did it work for me?...

YES! This did work for me! I lubed up the large head and with a little wiggle and not too much effort, slide the vibrator into me. I noticed that the head provided some g-spot stimulation and the antenna reached straight up to my clit. I was so excited to power this thing up!

The controls at the bottom of the vibrator are easy to use. The buttons are soft and easy to push...sometimes too easy! There are three buttons. One controls the vibrating bullet speed up and down, the second controls the rotation speed up and down, and the third just reverses the rotation.

I started with the vibration. On the lowest setting, it was a nice average speed. Nothing too intense, but something that could be maintained for teasing. There seemed to be a lag when I first tried the vibration. I don't know what the reason for this is, but it happens almost every time. When I increased the speeds, I had to hold the vibrator at a slightly upward angle or put a little pressure on the bullet to make it stay in contact with my clit. I didn't mind this though. If I didn't, it just wasn't as intense. I was pleased with the vibration. It was very strong on the highest of the three levels. The noise level of the vibration alone at the highest setting is slightly above average.

Then I played with the rotation. This also has three levels. The first was not really useful. I don't know if I was too tight, or its rotation motor was too weak-but it had a hard time rotating. The middle setting was perfect, I could feel the rotating shaft and beads inside me, without feeling like the toy was taking on a mind of its own. I didn't enjoy it as much on the highest level, because it made it harder for the bullet to stay on my clit. If I tried to hold the vibrator completely still, it would rub against my pelvic bone. This is the only rotating vibrator that I have tried that I liked the rotation on any setting, so I was still pleased.

The reverse rotation option was ridiculous, it felt awkward and didn't add anything to the stimulation for me. It could catch my pelvic bone at times and cause discomfort until the toy found its way into me again.
Instead, I wish there was a setting where you could have the rotating beads only, instead of the rotating head as well. The beads felt great!

I also wish that there was a button that would put the head in the original upright position when finished. I liked using the bullet vibration more, so sometimes it became annoying after I had used the rotation, because it would stop where ever I turned the power off. This would sometimes make the vibrator lean to the side and make insertion awkward unless I kept toying with it to get it back in the upright position.

I was surprised that the toy isn't THAT loud on vibrate. It is really loud when you add the rotation, it has a very mechanical sound to it-like grinding gears. Don't use this if you are trying to be discrete lol. This is also not waterproof so do not take it in the shower or tube, and be weary when cleaning.

You may have noticed that I didn't mention batteries in the last section, that's because there aren't any. This vibrator is rechargeable! BUT...it takes FOREVER! The box says that it takes 6 hours to charge fully and that at full charge and at the highest speed, it will last 75 minutes. This really sucked when I got it! I thought that maybe I could use it while it was plugged in, but you sadly can't. The good thing is that once it is charged, it won't lose the charge while being unused. The charging unit is simple, you just put the vibrator bottom down into a holder. No need to press any buttons. The holder has a light on it that will be red if it isn't charged and green when it is. Or at least, that's what I think it is supposed to do. Mine blinked semi-erratically sometimes. It is hard to tell if the unit is locked in place or not. The unit attaches to the wall with a standard AC power adapter that has a long cord for easy use.

Like I said before, this is not water proof. You cannot sterilize it or submerge in water. Your best bet is to dampen a cloth and use a small amount of soap to wipe down, lather, and rinse. Also, you can use silcione or water based lubes with this, but silicone will be harder to clean since it isn't water proof. Condoms can also be used with this toy, and should be since sharing is not a smart idea without. I do not recommend using this toy anally.

The package for this is really large. It would take up the majority of space in an average dresser drawer, as least it did for me. It is just make of thin blue and turquoise colored cardboard with a plastic see through portion to see the toy and charger dock inside. At least the images on the box only depict the toy, not some naked slutty broad. The front of the box describes a few of the features, but most of the description is on the back. This is where it says that it takes 6 hours to charge 75 minutes. I use this package to store the toy even though it is so large, that way all the pieces are kept together. There were no instructions include which I would have appreciated for the charging unit.

I even had my boyfriend use this. By flipping the toy upside down, the rotating head can massage the balls, while the butterfly can tantalize his head.
