A bumpy road to pleasure...

A great ride for day-to-day use or to satisfy your horniness, but don't count on it to bring you to a new dimension. It fills you up, gets you where you need to go, but doesn't have any music or fireworks!

Use

The Petite flowers can be used on nipples, clitoris, on the labia, or internally inserted. I used it as a warm up to get my juices flowing on all of the above, working my way south- once I was warmed and ready I slid the dildo in and enjoyed the pleasure!

This was a nice solo-play toy, though my partner enjoyed watching the dildo slide in and out and also loved inserting it into me. A partner can also use it to stimulate other erotic zones, so it's certainly not for solo-play only!

For me, the best use is when my partner's working nights- I need something that's similar to his length and girth, and so far, this has been a fairly decent match [a bit smaller, but it does what I'm looking for!].

Material / Texture

Before ripping into the packaging to grip my new steed, I took a moment to absorb what the manufacturer [Doc Johnson] put on the label: first thing to jump out at me was "non toxic, Phthalate-free", etc. I loved this. Huge sigh of relief! I also noticed the mention "designed by a woman, for a woman"... this gave me a bit more excitement and eagerness to try it out. I then, finally, took a moment to gaze upon my new member...through the box the dildo was a bit wider than I'd expected [a good thing!], and it just seemed nice and plump. The rubber [TPE] looked to be firm but flexible...very inviting! It had, for decoration AND stimulation, little hibiscus flowers molded onto the outside of the spiraled shaft. Pretty and functional. The back of the box gives news that my new toy is waterproof [also imprinted on the toy itself- great reminder], multispeed [woo!], and uses 2AAA batteries. Crumbs. I had just bought a whack of AA, but couldn't fulfill these requirements, so a trip for batteries was planned. Of course, I couldn't just keep the toy in the box until I bought batteries...the dildo was calling me to feel it!

Ooooh...it was the nice, soft-yet-firm rubber that I was hoping for; it also has a great flexible inner [it bends]. If you grab the base and give it a wiggle, the tip will dance. I love it.

Design / Shape / Size

I loved *most* of the aspects of this design: At first I wasn't sure about the raised flowers- I didn't think they'd do much. I was wrong about this though and greatly enjoyed the extra sensation. This was the biggest surprise, and I'm still loving it. For a woman who didn't notice any benefit to using textured condoms, I loooved these flowers! The added bumps from the swirled shaft added to this sensation and kept it fresh.

Now, compared to the man in my life, this toy doesn't quite compare: the shaft has a widest diameter of 1 1/4" [it's slightly tapered], and it's a total insertable length of 6"- any more than this and you're onto the handle.
The width and length are pretty good for me- if I was a virgin or new to sex I think it'd be a bit too girthy, and I likely wouldn't insert it all the way, but for me now, it fills me up pretty well. On my own, not at my horniest, it felt great.

Looking through the slightly opaque rubber, you can see a bullet enclosed in the tip around 3/4" from the very top. The bullet itself is around 1 1/4" tall. It's connected via wires to the base, a clear plastic tube about 2" tall, enclosed by all but 1/8" by the rubber. This plastic tube is connected to the slightly curved, rounded, pink handle [about 1 1/2" long] that showcases a dark fuchsia dial.

I loved the material: the rubber has a great solid yet giving texture. I love something that's almost real [texture wise- not too hard/slippery]...it gave a great sensation. The handle [a hard, smooth plastic] is slipperier than heck when it's got a bit of lube on it though, so beware for that...you'll have to wipe your hand and the controls off if you plan on using the vibes or pumping it in and out much.

One thing I didn't love was the tip, but this is likely personal preference: while the pointed tip makes for easier insertion, I found it uncomfortable upon deep insertion. This can be avoided by using a shallower insertion or by keeping an eye on the angle being used. One with a tilted uterus might beware of this- I believe it can cause pain when something is pushed in too deep.

Travel: By no means is this a discreet sex toy: a split second glance gives you all the knowledge you need to associate this with masturbation, so if you're uncomfortable with others knowing this, keep it well hidden. I would personally bring it on a business trip, tucked in a toiletry bag or such, but to each their own! A child, noticing this, WILL pick it up and ask about it, so keep it tucked away.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Initial performance was troubling: it says to 'tighten well' when installing the batteries. So, we did. It didn't turn on. We spent 5 minutes putting batteries in and out [figuring which end went where as there were no directions], tightening, etc. Finally we got it to work, juuuust before I was convinced I'd received a defective one. To get it to work: put one battery up, one battery down, turn the vibe dial a bit, then go to secure the bottom...do this slowly, tightening until it comes to life! It's easier to under or over tighten otherwise, and doing either won't allow it to vibrate.

I consider the vibrations minimal, though I realize the rubber absorbs the energy significantly. I felt the vibrations [even on high] to be quite useless when used internally [vaginally], but used directly on nipples or the clitoris beforehand was pleasureable. The vibrations are located in the bullet- in the top half of the shaft- lodged in the rubber. This is a multi-setting vibrator. You can smoothly progress from low to high with a turn of the dial.

Care and Maintenance

I found this easy to take care of. Because it's waterproof, you can give it a good scrubbing with some mild soap [or, as I enjoy, give it a soak in hot water to warm it up prior to play!]. It's made of TPE, Thermoplastic Rubber, and it's latex/phthalate free. Don't boil this toy, but you can certainly use an antibacterial sex toy cleaner.

As it's slightly porous, I'd recommend using a condom if sharing [and, even perhaps if just for you- it can gather bacteria], and especially between anal/vaginal play. [This doesn't have a secure/wide end, so please, use utmost caution if playing anally- I don't have experience here, so this is the most I can suggest]

Waterbased and silicone lubricants can be used with this toy; avoid oil.

Packaging

This lovely pink dildo came in a soft plastic rectangular box: The fresh green design enhanced the pretty pink rubber, and I actually quite liked it. Now, it's not fancy by any means, nor does it come across as an expensive item, but hey, it's just packaging, right? I wouldn't personally consider the packaging suitable for gift giving, but it could be wrapped as is.

Personal comments

All in all, I really like this and can see it becoming a go-to toy for me [for now]; the length and girth are great for satisfying my urges when my partner's unavailable, and I love the texture, particularly the raised bumps. I've learned to be careful with deep penetration as the pointed end causes me discomfort, and I don't rely on the vibrations at all [I have a great little bullet for this], but used as is, it's enjoyable.
Follow-up commentary
This isn't a favorite of mine, but it's still come in handy. I think after a while, the raised flowers became less stimulating and more irritating. I have new friends to play with, but this occasionally comes out for a romp.
