7 Function Venus butterfly - strap-on vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Stephanie Marie

This toy is meant for clit stimulation. I was wary at first, for I have never had a toy like this. Let's say I was not unhappy in any way with this toy, except with these straps on it. This toy will work for just about anyone, except---I am sorry, ladies---for those who are on the heavier side because the straps most likely will not fit. The straps are stretchy, just not too stretchy. I am 5' 1 1/2" and weigh 125 pounds at the moment. You can adjust the straps, but they (hmmm . . .) don't adjust enough. It fits comfortably enough for me, but it might not fit well at all for anyone bigger.

The butterfly is a latex free, phthalates free, hypoallergenic toy that is made of TPR. It feels jellylike. I have not yet noticed any odor to it, and I am hoping it stays that way. I must say to be careful when taking the straps off the butterfly's wings. I have noticed that it looks like it may tear when you take them off, though it hasn't happened to mine.

The toy is shaped like a butterfly and is attached to stretchy bands. I personally liked the butterfly look, for I think butterflies are cute little creatures. It is about 4" in length. It has a jellylike feel to it. You can take it with you traveling if you keep it in its original packaging.

This butterfly does have seven different functions, which are all pretty good.

The vibrations are as follows:
1. Low
2. Medium
3. High
4. Pulse, pulse vibration
5. Rapid pulse
6. Just pulse
7. Escalation

You hit the right arrow to change speeds and the left arrow to turn it off.

I like just about all the speeds, though the High and Escalation ones are probably my favorites.

Also this toy IS NOT waterproof, so be careful using it around water. It is not too loud, but it can be a bit loud at the High setting. So, I wouldn't suggest using this around other people.

The straps of this toy, like I said before, do not really adjust to fit bigger women, but they do adjust and are stretchy.

The wire that connects the toy to the control is almost three feet long but still not quite there.

To clean this toy, I detach the bands and unplug the cord. I simply use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it, though you can use toy cleaner as well on it. Since this toy CANNOT be sanitized, I wouldn't suggest sharing it with anyone, unless using a condom.

To store it, I keep it in its original packaging. I mean, it's easy enough to keep it in the packaging than to try and find somewhere else to store it.

I recommend using water-based lubes because I think they would work best over other kinds, but---don't get me wrong---you could probably use silicone-based lube as well.

The packaging is a simple plastic container with the toy inside a plastic box. You can see the control and butterfly from the front. On the back, it shows a picture of the butterfly and the control connected. It also lists the speeds that I mentioned above and says different things about the product, such as "fully adjustable and removable waist and thigh straps for comfort" and "soft, pliable, hygienically superior, unscented TPR," along with a few other sayings about the product.

I personally love this toy. I mean, you just strap it on and there you go. I used a G-spot vibrator vaginally with this as well, which made me get off even better. For my first butterfly, I think this was definitely a good pick! I seriously recommend it for any type of user.
