A decent investment for when nothing else is working

This would not be my regular nightly vibrator. It just doesn't have the power I need. It is a solid choice for times when I don't have a lot else to work with. It has never fully let me down, although sometimes it makes me work a little harder than I would like. I would strongly recommend it to people who require less stimulation than me.

Use

The Mega Mite is for clitoral stimulation, although I suppose it could be used for external stimulation all over. It's a pretty simple toy that could be used alone or with a partner. It's perfect for when the favorites are out of batteries, or for you need something small to travel with.

Material / Texture

The material is hard plastic, and it's pretty easy to clean. There's no smell to it that I detected. The textured top is softer and rubbery; it's also gentle on the skin, especially around the clitoris. However, the tip could be firmer to ensure more consistent stimulation.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is perfect for a basic clitoral stimulating toy. It's small and easy to hold. The size and simplicity of it make it less intimidating than some other vibrators, so I think it would be good for people that are buying vibrators the first time. It would also be good for people who already have a toy collection.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are centered at the tip, but they can be felt throughout whole toy. There is only one setting and it will be strong enough for most women, but it just isn't strong enough for me. That's the main reason this review isn't better. The strength seems to be lacking to me. However, the toy is very convenient and easy to use. It's easy to turn on and off, and it's easy to replace batteries. It's not incredibly noisy. I wouldn't try it in the same room with others, but in the next room, it wouldn't be heard. The toy is waterproof and did fine in the shower. Just remember that waterproof does not mean that you can submerge it in water.
    • Easy to use
    • Long lasting power
    • Weak

Care and Maintenance

As far as vibrators go, this is a very easy to care for design. It's hard plastic, and it can be washed with soap and warm water, or with a toy cleaner. It's easy to take apart and put back together. It can be stored in drawers without collecting lint.

Experience

This little Mega Mite is, by no means, a bad toy. It is efficient and perfect for what it was made for, which is clitoral stimulation. It is a sturdy, easy to care for toy. The main reason I couldn't get behind it is that it does not have the kind of power that I have come to expect from vibrators of this design. The vibrations weren't all that strong. That might be good for some women, but it can't work for me.
