I was quite excited when my toy came in. I thought the box was a little big, but it turns out that the product is just larger than I thought it was. It's eight inches tall with almost seven inches of insertable length. The packaging is minimal plastic, but it does showcase the vibrator well. I was most surprised by how shiny the toy was. It's beautifully shiny. However, I was slightly saddened by the fact that it took C-sized batteries. I expected it to take AAs. A quick look at the description would have solved that problem. The package also includes a piece of paper on battery insertion instructions. I was also quite fond of the box that it came in, and I think I'm going to keep it in there for storage.

The paint on the outside of the vibrator appears to be painted on. I'm sure that, with repeated use, it would probably peel off, but it seems like it's pretty nicely intact. It's very smooth to the touch, and there are no seems along the body of vibrator. Also, if you're a stickler for having your toys shiny-clean, this toy may be a problem. Almost all smudges show up on the surface of this vibrator because of the metallic paint. On the bottom cap, there's also a cute little plastic gem. It does just look glued on, so if you keep this vibrator for a couple years, it would be possible that the gem might fall off. It also makes the base an uneven surface. Since I store my toys in the original boxes, that's not a problem for me, but for someone who likes their toys to sit upright, this is probably a deal breaker. As I said, though, you could just take the gem off with a little bit of work. The vibrator is made out of plastic and actually is a lot lighter than I expected it to be.

The vibrator is phthalates-free. The box recommends water-based lubricant for best effects. Also, because this vibrator is plastic, make sure to always cover it with a condom if you plan on sharing it- plastic can not be completely sterilized. This toy could be used vaginally or externally, but it's not suitable for anal play. It doesn't have a base nor much length to hold on to for anal play for it to be safe enough to use.

Vibrations are controlled at the bottom of the toy through a dial. I'd say there's the basic low-medium-and-high on this toy. The low one is actually pretty quiet, but once you get up into the high settings, it's actually a lot louder than most people would prefer. Personally, I have no reason to care about how loud it is, but for people that have a preference, this vibrator is probably a little bit loud for you. However, the low vibrations are actually quite good for a warm-up, and the high vibrations are probably the strongest vibrations I've ever felt. (That's really not too much of a feat considering that I only own one other vibrator) It was actually a little too strong at points. Someone more experienced with vibrators may find it quite perfect for them, though.

The vibrator doesn't have any pulse controls or anything. It's just one constant buzz which I personally enjoy. I'd say that the sensation is focused near the tip of the vibrator, but it's easily felt throughout the entire toy.

One of the great selling points of this vibrator is that it's completely waterproof. As long as you have the cap screwed on tightly, this toy can easily be underwater. I kept mine underwater for about thirty minutes, and when I looked afterward, there was no water in the battery compartment at all. The noise level actually probably amplified because of the small area and mostly-tile aspect of my bathroom. This is probably not a toy you want to use in the bathroom if you are hiding it from other residents of your home.

Because the toy is plastic and waterproof, I just recommend a wet washcloth and soap to clean the toy. There's also sterilizing toy wipes if you'd prefer that method for cleansing. As I said before, because plastic is porous, you should cover it with a condom if you plan on sharing it with anyone else.

I'd definitely say this is a good toy for beginners, intermediate toy users, or people who are just looking for something pretty (and expensive looking) without the huge price tag. I'd say it's just mostly a basic vibrator with more intense vibrations than most traditional vibrators. Aside from the beautiful outside of the toy and it being waterproof, it has all the regular features of a traditional vibrator.

Personally, I found this toy to be uncomfortable to use internally. I think it's mostly because the plastic has no give to it, so it just hurt to have it inserted. However, it really did do a great job with the vibrations clitorally though.

After two months, it's still one of the stronger battery-run vibrators I have. It doesn't go through batteries too quickly, and none of the paint has chipped off of it. It's really a strong vibrator still, and I haven't had any problems with it thinking its going to die. The fake jewel on the bottom is still firmly attached.

We mostly use this for my boyfriend. While it's a good vibrator, I have vibrators I prefer more, so he'll end up taking this from me and using it on himself.
