With its crooked tip, the Power G by California Exotic is designed to hit your spot and give it some special attention, no matter who is holding it. If you look at the picture, you'll see that it also has a kind of "cross bar" with nubs at the base. When the vibe is completely inserted, these nubs are designed to touch your clit and the anal area, adding to the sensations it produces.

Whether you already know where your G-spot is, or you want to find out where it is while also stimulating other sensitive areas, this might be the toy for you.

The material is confusing, because the front of the package states "soft, unscented, hygienically superior TPR,", while on the bottom it says "Material: TPE". After a little investigation, I found out that TPE and TPR are the same material, a polymer blend that is is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone. It is also phthalates free. Pleasantly soft and smooth to the touch, the curved tip and the nubs are flexible enough to mold themselves to each individual's needs. Although the box states that it is "unscented", it definitely had an intense, unpleasant odor out of the box. However, after the toy was exposed to air for a week or so, the odor almost completely disappeared.

As I said before, this toy is designed to hit your G-spot and stimulate your clit and anal area at the same time. A tall order! G-spot toys are typically created with the "come hither" crook at the end; some are longer, some shorter. This one is fairly short, with an insertable length of 3 1/4". That G-spot toys come in different lengths highlights the fact that each woman's G-spot is in a different place. My G-spot, for example, isn't anywhere near where the crook of any G-spot toy hits, and the Power-G is no exception. On the other hand, the "cross bar" with the nubs does come pretty close...and the nubs also tickle my clit very nicely, thank you. The crook could easily hit another woman's special spot perfectly, of course. In addition, because the material is so pliable, Power G can be used to explore for the G-spot without hurting.

At 1 3/8" in diameter, the Power-G could be a little chubby for some women, but its length is not intimidating.

The Power-G is electric, with an AC 100-240V adapter and a 9' cord, so you will not be running to your favorite box store to buy batteries as often when you play with this toy. Note that the cord is long enough for you to move around comfortably, too. The vibrations are located just below the crooked tip, so they move out in waves from inside your body without getting lost before reaching the nubs. The vibrations are controlled from the handle, which is easy to reach.

The toy has an incremental speed control. At the lowest setting it is nicely stimulating, while at the highest, it packs quite a punch, making it suitable whether you want a little or a lot of vroom. It is not waterproof.

Because TPR/TPE is porous, you should always use condoms if sharing this toy with others. You cannot disinfect your Power G with boiling water; you should always wash it with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap. It can be used with either silicone or water based lubricants. If you have enough space, the toy can be stored in its box, which also makes it easier to keep track of its cord.

The Power-G arrived in a clear plastic box suitable for wrapping, if it were to be given as a gift. The box could be used to store the toy, especially if you wanted to make sure that the cord did not get separated from the toy.

I have often complained that manufacturers do not put enough information on their packaging. This is an exception. Other than listing the material differently in two places, the box does a good job of informing consumers about the product. Cleaning procedures and recommended lubricants are clearly stated on the bottom of the box.
