A great idea poorly designed.

Pipedream's Deluxe Rabbit Pearl left me feeling extremely disappointed. Although the idea for this toy seems like a great one in theory, the end product was not up to par with my expectations.

I was really excited about the Deluxe Rabbit Pearl in theory. It seems to have all of the perfect features for a rabbit. It’s made of smooth, body-safe silicone, the bullet vibe in the clitoral rabbit is separate from the motor used to control the internal rotations, and the actual rabbit part is removable and able to be situated just where it works best for you, or taken off altogether and placed on another toy.
The shaft of this toy uses three AAA batteries to power very subtle rotations. Three separate GF192 watch batteries power the bullet used for clitoral stimulation.

By itself, without the rabbit in place, the shaft of the toy measures 8” from top to bottom with a 5” or 5.5” insertable length. With the rabbit, the insertable length is reduced to 4.5”. At its widest the shaft measures 4.5” around.

Besides requiring separate batteries for each of its components, my biggest disappointment when it comes to Pipedream's Deluxe Rabbit Pearl is a lack of power, especially in the little rabbit clitoral stimulator. The bullet vibrator used in the removable rabbit is very small and made of purple plastic, with a button on one end used to turn it on and off. The bullet vibe offers one speed and on its own; it’s only slightly disappointing, and perhaps perfect for some. Unfortunately for use with the Deluxe Rabbit Pearl, the included plastic bullet's vibrations are further diffused through the rather thick layer of silicone used to make the removable bunny sleeve, and the result becomes just plain disappointing.

The rotating shaft isn’t as disappointing on its own. I enjoy the shape of this toy, and although I don’t find the rotations to be especially awe-inspiring but rather very subtle, they can be enjoyable at times. There are two vibrating speeds activated by pressing the power button once or twice. Below the power button is another button used to control the direction of rotation.
Follow-up commentary
I still think the idea behind this toy has a lot of potential, and really wish someone would make another, better version, but this rabbit is nowhere near reaching the full potential of this idea.

Thank you for the information. I don't think I'll spend $155 for such a disappointing toy.

Holy crap. $155 for a *battery powered* toy? That's insane, especially considering it doesn't seem all that special. Hell, for another $45, I could buy Fun Factory's new Stronic!

    Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the review... definitely agree I wouldn't be paying more then $40 for this toy. I am too cheap and don't see anything that special to make it worth that much money!

Like, you, I think it's an interesting idea in theory, if not execution, to have the movable/removable rabbit. But that alone is not innovative enough to justify the price tag! The rabbit part seems underpowered & the shaft is lackluster. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the great review of this less-than-great toy. For $155, it should be simple, hassle-free and AMAZING. Instead, it sounds complicated, annoying (two sets of batteries?!), and mediocre.
