I really want to applaud JimmyJane for making this toy! I've had it for a long time, and when it got eaten up along with my MiMi I thought my life was over (Because my MiMi was gone haha. I hadn't used the Iconic Smoothie in a while.) So I replaced the Smoothie and I never realized how much I loved this toy when I first got it. Also, I never used it enough the first time to realize just how well-built this toy is. It withstands water extremely well, and is the strongest traditional vibrator I have ever owned in my life. I've never been too fond of them until I came across this little guy. The plain-looking white color makes it inconspicuous and it wont stand out in a room. It's the perfect toy for the girl living in a dorm room. I might just buy back-ups if my dog decides to eat this again! It's been holding me over while I awaited the replacement of my MiMi and the toy is built so well that after changing the batteries several times, it's still running strong. This toy was built to last!

First toy?
-
I'm new to the world of sex toys and a virgin who's tried and failed to reach climax on my own. I'm wondering if the Iconic Smoothie would be a good first toy ever.
I want something on the easier to care for side and something waterproof. This seems to fit both of those requirements and it has seemingly good reviews. Also, not to expensive would be nice. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd be very grateful. -

If you do go with that one, consider a bullet to stimulate your clit at the same time. Or just knock both out at the same time with a rabbit vibrator. My first dual-action one was the Ultimate Beaver, which is still one of my favorites, but take time to read the reviews. But you said you wanted waterproof and that it isn't, but there are plenty that are.

"Do not use on unexplained calf pain"
-
On the safety information of the vibrator I just reviewed (the Iconic Smoothie by Jimmyjane), it says warns, "Do not use on unexplained calf pain."
I thought this was pretty weird, and oddly specific. So of course, I looked it up.
DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) is a type of blood clot that occurs in deep vein of a lower extremity - such as the calf. Using the vibrator there could break the clot free from the wall and allow it to cause an embolism in heart, lungs, etc.
I don't remember ever seeing this warning before, though my search showed that it's on lots of them (and one source said the FDA says it HAS to be, but I'm not sure about the validity of that).
I'm not sure what's more alarming: that any of my vibrators could kill me if I had DVT and didn't know it.. or that I've been using sex toys for years now and have only just come across this information. Scary! -
I've noticed this warning on a few of my vibes, but I didn't know what it was about until now. Thanks for sharing the information!

Every one I have ever purchased has had this warning...and it is actually a pretty serious warning.

Thank you for viewing Iconic smoothie – sex toy review page!

Great review.
Excellent review! You mentioned letting the vibrator dry with the cap and battery out. Have you ever had water get into the battery compartment?
Reminds me of the Smooth Slim Delight...Thanks alot though
@Yaoi Pervette: I did mention that water has never personally gotten into mine. That is just a little trick I learned from a friend to prolong the life and in case you do ever get water in it.
Very good review! Like always. I like the way this look, but it looks so boring to me.
Thanks for the review! I don't think that this one will hit the spot for me!
No problem! I'm glad that I could be helpful It does look very... I don't quite know the word but it just doesn't stand out like a wonderful toy but it works amazing for the clit!
