I don't usually enjoy the "traditional vibrators". You know, the long, skinny, plastic vibrators that rarely cost more than $40. Yeah, THOSE... Well, I've definitely changed my mind after using the Iconic Smoothie. I've owned the Iconic Smoothie for a pretty long while now, but actually re-purchased it because my dog decided he wanted to go on a toy-chewing spree this past week.

I can tell you that right off the bat, the Iconic Smoothie is something that will become a favorite in it's own little way. Whether you enjoy using it internally for some inner vaginal/anal stimulation, or if you enjoy using it against your clit for an "Iconic" clitoral orgasm. You can be a female or a male and enjoy this little baby. It's an awesome tradtional vibrator - however, it's anything BUT tradtional.

The Iconic Smoothie is made from a very hard, food-grade plastic that is non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex-free. It's safe, which is very important when it comes to any toy material - but especially plastic. So no fear, this toy is completely safe. You could eat off of it!... If you wanted to.

Just like the name, this toy is a "smoothie". No imperfections - just smooth, hard, cool plastic that warms up to your skin. There is no texture, so it's quite unfortunate to know that for those who like texture. I, however, am a fan of either/or. So this toy worked wonderfully for me. And I must add that vibration will make up for any lost texture! Believe me!

There is no smell to this toy, and no taste - yes, I've tasted it just for you guys. So this vibe shouldn't be a bother for anyone. Great for advanced and beginners - it's something for everyone!

The design of this vibe is... Well... Traditional? It's long, has a slightly tapered yet rounded end, and is operated by twisting the end of the toy. As noted on the box, the Iconic Smoothie is based on a vibrator that appeared sometime in the 1940's. Thus, the title "traditional".

I personally always found traditional vibrators to be dull. The shape, size, etc just never just much for me. I always wanted texture, bulges, bumps, girth, etc. However, the Iconic Smoothie has changed that and I'm happy to say that I'm just in love with it. It isn't a toy I pull out EVERY night, but I do love to use it for solo play and it gets the job more than done.

Something I find really nice is that it's one of the larger traditional vibrators that I own, and also the heaviest that I own. I find that makes me feel fuller, and at an angle hits my G-Spot very well. It's more than long enough to be inserted fully, and it's sure to give you a feeling to make up for whatever you're missing.

One thing that is wonderful about traditional vibrators is that they are very discreet. Unless your grandmother had a vibrator then no one will really know what the hell this thing is at first glance. I keep mine right in my top drawer and the family has looked in there countless times not figuring out what the Iconic Smoothie is. No one has even asked, for that matter.

So it's definitely suitable for roommate living, living at home, travel etc. It's something you could keep anywhere and everywhere, so travel is a breeze.

The Iconic Smoothie performs to the highest caliber for a battery operated toy. The dial at the base of the toy turns easily, but not so easily that you might accidentally turn your vibrations up and down. Each level of vibration moves smoothly from one level to the next and unlike the Inked Vibe (search it on EF) it doesn't cut out during usage. That was one of the reasons I always hated traditional vibrators - the cutting out is a huge issue for me. Once a vibe cuts out, my whole orgasm can be ruined.

It's surprisingly quiet for a traditional vibrator. Most hit about a 4, while the Iconic Smoothie only gets up to a 2 at it's highest setting. I wouldn't even call it a 2. More like 1 1/2 bees. Play with it under the covers and no one will know a thing.

I have used the Iconic Smoothie in the shower, and it is marketed as waterproof. However, one should always avoid actually submerging it into water completely (such as taking this baby to the pool). That's never a good idea. However, it's a great bathtime toy and shower toy, so this is the little gal for you!

Always be sure to remove the cap and batteries after use in the water (after completely drying the outside of the toy), and let it dry out for the rest of the day/night. This will prolong the life and dry out any water that may have possibly gotten into the toy on accident.

It takes two AA batteries, which JimmyJane has been kind enough to provide for you with the toy. The batteries lasted me through 5 uses (and I play for a LONG time) so this toy is NOT a battery guzzler. This is great if you're planning on giving this as a gift.

The Iconic Smoothie is unbelievably easy to care for. Wipe it down with toy wipes, toy cleaner, or antibacterial soap and warm water. I prefer the antibacterial soap and warm water.

After use, remove the cap and batteries (this is what I prefer to prolong the life, but it is not required) and store the toy taken apart to prolong life of not only the toy but the batteries as well. This will also help dry out any water that may have accidentally leaked into the toy. Although, water leaking is highly unlikely.

For those of you who have read a lot of my reviews, you know I'm a klutz. I've dropped almost all of my toys - including this one. You'll be happy to know that it's sturdy and did not break. However, keep it somewhere safe. Maybe in it's box, in a toy pouch, or just inside of a sock. Whatever works for you.

Inside you will find your Iconic Smoothie. Along with the Iconic Smoothie, two batteries are included. The original included batteries are labeled "JimmyJane", but the batteries I am showing are my own because I've already used this toy too many times that the batteries have gone out. JimmyJane did not include any sort of storage bag or box, which was a real bummer.

My experience with the Iconic Smoothie has been great. Although I prefer rechargeable toys, this vibe totally fit the bill for me. It lasts a long time, doesn't eat batteries, is very quiet, is very powerful and TONS TONS TONS TONS of fun to use in multiple ways. Even my husband enjoys using this one!

Great for perineum massage, slowly gliding against the scrotum or penis, inner vaginal play, or clitoral stimulation - there's STILL more uses than that, I'm sure of it.
