Reflections peace - traditional vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by White Fox

Trying out glass isn't always the easiest of affairs. The biggest hurdle I've seen is cost. For a sizable piece of glass of good quality you need to drop quite a bit of cash! Doc Johnson has come through with the Reflections Peace. This hollow glass vibe is reasonably priced and packs enough punch to satisfy most while giving everyone a chance to try out some glass!

Reflections comes packaged nicely in a clear plastic box with some very colorful designs which was fairly easy to open and was held securely in place by formed plastic. The only fault I have with the packaging is it doesn't leave you an easy way to store the toy like others do. I would've loved to have gotten a small bag with it to protect the glass from chipping. I was happy to see, however, such pride being taken in the packaging and construction of this gorgeous little toy.

Right away out of the box you can tell it was made with quality in mind. The glass is smooth and I found no flaws in the texture. The button on the end cap is rubbery and gives a satisfyingly solid click when pressed and the o-ring seal is nice and beefy, not like the cheap thin rings found in some other "waterproof" toys. There was no noxious smell from the toy when we took it out and so we were able to thoroughly enjoy it right away.

So how does it feel? Well my partner thinks it's great! She does have some sensitivity to some textures such as the ridges on this one, but overall it was quite fun to play with. We only tried it out vaginally but she seemed to enjoy it and I had fun trying it out on her. I wouldn't recommend this one for anal use as the end is definitely not flared. It tapers down and would get lost way too easily. Just don't do it!

We had a lot of fun with this toy and found a few upsides and downsides about it. It's pretty lightweight so depending on what you prefer this may be great or not so great. It doesn't have the same heavy feel as solid glass does even with the batteries in. My partner found the spiral ridges just a little too much, but she is quite sensitive to abrupt changes and tends to prefer smoother toys, but she still found this one enjoyable. The Reflections is a little on the shorter and stockier side so it may not seem long enough for some and I found it a little difficult to grip and press the nub button on the end to change speeds. For her, the vibration seemed intense enough, though, so depending on how "rough" you like it, this one may be a great fit.
