A Hat for Your Hitachi
The Gee Whizzard suffers a bit from silicone that's a little too floppy, but otherwise is a great addition to any Hitachi-style vibrator.Published: July 26, 2010
Pros:
Pure silicone, pretty green swirls, diffuses the vibrations of the Hitachi
Cons:
Not stiff enough for effective g-spot stimulation
There's a lot to love about the Gee Whizzard: it's made of pure silicone, it harnesses the awesome power of the Hitachi Magic Wand, and it can be used either for insertion or external use. It has a slim g-spot attachment on one side and a bunch of nubs for clitoral stimulation on the other. It's an extremely versatile item. You get about 5 inches of insertable length for the g-spotting end and about an inch of diameter, so it's not a huge toy. The silicone is extremely squishy and floppy. It's clear with pretty green swirls throughout.
The Gee Whizzard slides pretty easily over the head of the Hitachi. The idea is that you can either use backside with nubs externally, or flip it around and insert the g-spot attachment. Then, you switch on the Hitachi and vibrate yourself to orgasm. That's in theory. In practice, it works out pretty well, since it's kind of hard not to orgasm when you're in the vicinity of a Hitachi, but there are some hitches.
Personally, I found the attachment a little too floppy for g-spot stimulation. As powerful as the Hitachi is, I couldn't really feel the vibrations internally when the Gee Whizzard was inserted. As you can see from the accompanying video, the Gee Whizzard doesn't do much to muffle the noise of the Hitachi, but it does diffuse the vibration intensity a little. The nubs on the backside, when used on the clit, felt pretty nice, but since they're on the back, it was a little awkward to apply pressure. There is a little bit of texture on the g-spotting end, but it's too subtle to be felt.
Since the Gee Whizzard is silicone, cleaning is a snap, which is especially nice because the head of the Hitachi isn't made of a sterilizable material. So you can remove the cap and sterilize it if you want to share your Hitachi with a non-fluid-bonded partner. Cleaning is the same as for any other silicone: boil, top rack of the dishwasher (no soap), or a wipe-down with 10% bleach solution.
All in all, I think the Gee Whizzard is great for protecting the head of your Hitachi from bacteria or other pathogens. It would be great for someone who doesn't need a lot of firm pressure for g-spot stimulation, or someone who is sensitive and wanted to tone down the Hitachi intensity a (small) notch. Additionally, the Gee Whizzard ought to fit onto any wand-style vibrator that has a head the same size as the Hitachi, which is pretty cool. The Gee Whizzard could be used for anal play safely, since as a base it has, well, the entire Hitachi.

Thank you for viewing Gee whizzard – vibrator accessory review page!

Wow, I really thought that this was a lot smaller. Seeing it in your video shows its good size!
Great review!
I second Sir's comment!
WOW! Now I need to check out this hitachi!
It's funny, I thought it was going to be a lot smaller, too! And then I got it and the tube is the same size as any other Vixen tube. I was pretty surprised.
Thanks for the review
Totally agreeing with Sir, that thing is huge! Lovely review, that attachment tempts me to return to my Hitachi. (sigh) When will companies catch on and realize that Acuvibe users also want cool attachments!
Great review!
Very nice review-- lots of good information! Thanks!
Great video, thanks!!
Was wondering (since none of the reviews on this attachment seem to cover it) if this would work anally or not, its not over a girthy toy, the only real concern I could see for it is the angling of the hitach and attachment and the speeds it thrusts (I see as it maybe being like a portable simpler f**king machine)
any one know? I'd love to add this to the hitachi (when I buy it in a few weeks) to add an extra source of stimulation to the wand ^^
great review otherwise
oh jeez, I totally missed the very last line of your review, I'm sorry! but has anyone or you used it anally yet to see how easy it is to use that way? after I watched the video I think it should be fine ^^
Nice video & grart review I might have to buy it
I cant wait for my Hitachi so I can get this attachment. Thanks for the review!
thanks for the review
thanks for this review!
awesome job!
thank you
Thanks for the review!
thanks
Thanks for the review, the video does a good job of showing it in conjunction with the Magic Wand. With it being so floppy when inserted, not sure it would do what we'd hope it would.
