The G4 Big Boss is a large vibrator, at 1 3/4 inches, so it's not for beginners. It uses Fun Factory's Clik N Charge system of magnetic chargers, and there's nothing to plug in. It offers gradually increasing vibes as well as a set of pulsating and patterned vibes.

The shaft is a striking neon orange/red that is pure, odorless silicone. It's velvety soft to the touch and does pick up some lint. Combined with the varying thickness as it thins in the middle, the slight ridges and the bulging head add extra stimulation.

It curves upward and is rather flexible, with the motor appearing to be in the middle.

It's not discreet because it resembles a huge orange dick with a handle. It's pretty thick, and while my size-queen lover appreciated its extra girth, I used it mainly for clitoral stimulation.

It's bendable and slightly curved, which enables it to work the Gspot. I appreciate that while it has a bulging head and a thick upper shaft, it narrows a bit in the middle which makes thrusting feel more intense, but also makes it more comfortable while it's inserted, with the thinner part at the opening of the vagina.

I love the variety of patterns, and use them to start off with, then move to strong and steady vibes.

The handle is an innovative, ergonomic loop that I find easy to handle while using it both on my lover and myself. Since the buttons face inward and it's curved, changing them with your thumb while it's inside you is easy and doesn't tend to happen by accident. Using the toy on someone else and simultaneously changing the settings is less easy, a second hand to change controls is usually easier while the other hand is occupied with one or two fingers through the loop.

It's astonishingly quiet, especially at low and mid levels, although it does get louder at the very highest levels.

One CON: the charging system is convenient because it connects magnetically to the vibe, no plugging in, but it doesn't maintain contact consistently. You can't just snap on the charger and let it go without a second glance. Rather, you have to make sure the vibe is positioned correctly so that the red light doesn't go out, indicating the contacts are not aligned. It's a pain to arrange it just right on a surface, and movement can make it lose contact. I have figured out which positions work, and can charge it successfully with only a little effort, but it's still a little inconvenient.

Do not immerse in water, although it is water-safe. Spray the shaft with a 10% bleach solution and rinse well with water. Clean the handle the same way.
