After a long hard day, a girl loves to come home to a relaxing and romantic evening. She loves to be greeted with flowers. Even if roses aren't her favorite, I guarantee she will love this one. What better way to show that she is loved and appreciated than with a vibrating, waterproof flower! With seven different patterns, she will quickly find her favorite. Take an evening to show her that you care. Fill up the tub with a hot bubble bath, and sit back to watch while she enjoys.

Use

The Silicone Bendable Rose, or Rose from here on out, is a perfect toy for just about anyone who is willing to play around with all of the possibilities that comes with it. Rose is made for a multitude of stimulation. It is great for clitoral stimulation, but the rumbly and light vibrations will not be enough to get everyone off. It would be a great warm up to more powerful toys though. What I use this toy for is vaginal penetration, and it is especially awesome for my easy to find G-spot. You might be wondering why and how this would make a great G-spot vibrator. Well, the green stem of the Rose actually bends and can contort to many different shapes. That being said, I do not recommend this toy for those who have finicky or hard to stimulate G-spots. While the shaft does bend, it does not take a lot of pressure to straighten it back out, so it will more than likely bend out of the shape you bent it into before you achieve any G-spot stimulation. While this doesn't technically have a flared base, I do not see a problem with using this as an anal toy. I have said it before and will again. Please be safe and always keep a nice grip on the toy. You can also twist it into a U or C shape so that it hooks into your bum. This way it will have a lesser chance of being sucked into the anal cavity, but the handle will be curved upward so that a comfortable double penetration is possible. I don't insert more than the rosebud, but that is just my personal preference. For those men out there who don't mind using a girly vibe, this may do the job at massaging the P-spot. The best thing of all is that this rose is waterproof!

Material / Texture

The Rose is pretty much divided into three different sections and materials. The white base is made out of a shiny plastic. Plastic is non-porous and phthalates free. The base does not have any seams, but it does have some raised ridges to help slippery fingers keep a nice grip. The black push button on the bottom of the base is covered by some silicone to help keep it waterproof. Plastic has no smells or tastes, and it is super rigid and somewhat hard to break.
The long, green stem is a bendable spine that is covered with what feels like some type of rubbery material. It didn't come with any rubbery smells or tastes. The packaging did not come with any information on what this material is, but it definitely does not feel like silicone. For this reason, I would still cover the toy in a condom just in case the stem is not completely non-porous. The stem, as said before, is super flexible and has a harsh seam that runs along the sides. I definitely can feel it with my fingers, and it can be irritating to my skin. However, for some reason, I cannot feel it during vaginal or anal penetration.
The beautiful red rosebud is made out of body safe silicone. This material is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, and latex/phthalates free. It is one of the safest materials out there for you. Silicone is very easy to care for and will last a long time if properly cared for. The tip of the rose is very squishy and plush, but the rest of the rose is very firm because this is where the bullet is located. This will help provide some intense pressure to the G-spot. The rose part has some swirls and ridges to help it look like an actual rose. It has some drag to it, and it collects lint and hair like crazy. That being said, it came without any smells or tastes which is always a plus! The rose portion does have a visible seam, but I can barely feel it with my fingers. I cannot feel it during use. The seam is definitely not as noticeable as the one on the stem.

Design / Shape / Size

Here is where I really want to go into detail about the bendable stem. At the top and bottom of the stem is a bulge where it has been connected to the rosebud and base. The bulge is pretty raised and large. It can cause some issues while thrusting. It adds some texture, but this kind of texture can quickly irritate some. It makes the toy look a little cheap, yet it gives the heavy rosebud some stability.
Right out of the packaging, the stem will seem a little stiff. When I first bent it (to like a 90 degree angle), I heard a very loud snap. I would compare this to the snap you hear when you first bend a glow stick. I thought I broke it, so I quickly put the batteries in and turned it on. It worked just fine. I bent the stem in multiple different angles (which also created some more loud snaps). Again, I turned it on and everything was working fine. After I messed with the stem a little bit, it no longer made snapping noises, and it didn't feel as stiff. With all this in mind, this thing was built to be bent into all kinds of crazy shapes. Don't be hesitant to be creative. This being said, be aware that the shape you put it in will not stay that shape for long. Any shape I tried was easily moved out of position by rocking or thrusting my toy. The stem doesn't hold up to pressure at all, so those who need pressure for G-spot or clitoral stimulation will be very frustrated in the end. Thankfully, the firm rosebud created all the pressure I needed. In the end, I love the cute design. It is super discreet, and it would be perfect for travel. However, I don't like that the stem is so easily bent out of position. The toy's long length is great, and it is easily folded in half for easy storage.
Measurements:
Total Length- 11"
Insertable Length (in straight mode)- 5 1/2" (that is about halfway down the stem and what I am comfortable with)
Diameter of rosebud- 1 1/2"

Functions / Performance / Controls

How to run the Rose:
The Rose is powered by 2 AAA batteries, and yes it does run on rechargeable batteries. To insert the batteries, simply unscrew the cap and follow the battery placement diagram on the inside of the battery compartment. Screw the cap back on (which is super easy) and make sure that the lines match up on the white plastic handle. There is a nice O ring located in the battery compartment. It is hard to see at first, but I found it! This O ring makes Rose waterproof. Rose is really simple to use. There is a single black button on the bottom of the base. Press it to start the vibrations, and continue pressing the button until you reach the desired pattern. To shut it off, press and hold the button for about 5 seconds. The toy seems to do quite well with batteries as far as battery life. It isn't the best, but it doesn't drain them either.
The vibrations are surprisingly rumbly on all levels. For the amount of power, this toy is definitely quiet. It can definitely be drowned out by the shower, a fan, or by using it under some covers. I caution using it under heavy blankets as this toy could definitely overheat. The noise output on high sounds even quieter than a cell phone vibrating. All of the vibrations are located in the rosebud, or red, section. The vibrations tend to travel all the way down the stem and into the handle, so fingers could become irritated by the vibes.
Patterns:
1.)Low vibes
2.)Medium vibes
3.)High vibes
4.)Two short pulses followed by one long pulse
5.)Four quick pulses followed by one long pulse
6.)One long pulse followed by four quick and short pulses
7.)Really long high pulses that just repeat
Performance:
Rose worked perfectly in the shower and bathtub. I have not had any problems so far with the toy leaking water into the battery compartment. The only problem I had was that I had to use water based lubes in the shower (because it is silicone), and the water kept washing it away leaving me uncomfortable. I had to stop multiple times to reapply lube, and that kind of killed the moment. I do have to say that this toy is worth all that trouble because it makes me squirt... a lot. I have been going through a dry spell lately when it comes to squirting, so I went on the hunt for some new toys to help get the juices flowing again. I brought this into the shower with my hubby, and his response was funny but sweet. He said, "Babe I don't wanna use this on you. It looks like it will hurt." At the time, he didn't know that the rosebud section was made of silicone, and the point at the end really scared him. After promising him that I trust him completely, he gave in. The instant he inserted Rose into me, I felt full. It was a wonderful feeling. I sighed after the initial shock of being filled up. He bent the stem into a U shape, and the rosebud went in for the kill. It immediately targeted my G-spot. I squeaked and moaned when my hubby turned on the vibes. He wiggled it back and forth, and he played around for a while until he was comfortable with it. Then, he started thrusting it in and out of my vagina. I started playing with my clit, and that was when it felt like lightening. My thighs started to quake, and I could feel my warm squirt flowing past my fingers and down my thighs. I have tried this anally (with a condom over it), and my experience was about the same as before except my hubby was in me vaginally and was the one to make me squirt.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is super low maintenance. Because it has a motor in it, I would not recommend anyone to boil it or stick it in the dishwasher. A simple cleaning with warm water and antibacterial soap is all that it needs. Pay special attention to the nooks and textured areas of the toy, or fluids may get trapped.
Before any cleaning, be sure that the battery cap is on securely. If sharing, take the extra necessary precautions to keep everyone and everything safe. That being said, only use water based lubricants with the Rose. Take the batteries out before storing this toy or else the toy may drain the batteries completely. It also prevents the toy from accidentally turning on during storage or travel. Speaking of storage, the original packaging can be reused. However, it is rather thin and flimsy, so I just use a Ziploc bag.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The packaging has its positives and negatives. The positives? It is very cute, romantic, and feminine. The Rose is placed in a see through plastic tube complete with a nice red bow. This would definitely make a great gift for anyone. The packaging has quite a bit of information on it. There is even a gift tag on it with a "To" and "From" slot. The back of the tag has a brief description of this special rose. The negatives? The packaging is see through and therefore not really discreet. The plastic is very thin and flimsy, so I don't see it lasting a long time for future storage. Between the tag and the information printed on the package, people will know that this is a vibrator.
What information is given? it is waterproof, it takes 2 AAA batteries, it has a bendable stem, it is made of body safe materials, and it has 7 functions.

Great review and video. Too bad the silicone is pulling away from the bullet. That would make me worry about cleaning and it being waterproof.
