Overall this toy is a great idea, and probably a great toy if you are a smaller person. The straps are very short and won't fit around bigger thighs. There is only one vibration setting and it isn't very strong.

The Venus Penis 2 is a strap on vibrator. It had a clitoral stimulator as well as a 3 inch insertable penis. It has clear plastic straps, that can hook it around your waist and around each of your thighs for a snug fit. It also comes with a handy little wireless remote, which is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches, so its easily hidden inside your or your partners hand. Its great to put on and have your partner control the remote.
The Venus Penis 2 is made of a clear jelly like material. The texture is smooth, there is no ribbing or studding, just a smooth 3 inch shaft. The clitoral end has a small nub as does the anal stimulant. This is a great toy for beginners, where it has hardly any texture someone new to sex toys isn't going to be thrown off by the aggressiveness of this toy.
This toy has a butterfly shape to it, with a 3 inch insertable penis shaped shaft. It has a clitoral and an anal simulating nub. Personally I liked the shape to the toy. My main issue was that this toy was clearly not made with larger people in mind. It doesn't line up as it should on me. I am a larger woman, I am a size 16-18 and with the penis inserted it barely hit my clit and the anal nub was way off from hitting its target. The straps are made from a very thin plastic and are adjustable but the ones that go around the thighs didn't fit me fully extended, the one that reaches around your waist I did find was big enough and did the job just fine. I do wish the thigh straps were longer so that it would have had a more snug fit.
There is only one vibration setting on this toy. I honestly didn't think that it was strong enough. Yes I did get a nice vibration coming through on it but it didn't get the job done for me. This toy is NOT waterproof. The battery cover has nothing to protect it from water getting into the toy and destroying it, so be very careful when cleaning it. The vibrations are turned on by using the wireless remote. You press the button once for on and again to turn it off.
As far as noise goes, I wouldn't strap this on and go sit on your sofa with a room full of people. My husband could hear it through the bedroom door.
Use extreme caution when cleaning this toy! It is in no way waterproof, and if water gets into the battery compartment it will short out. I would use either toy wipes or a damp wash cloth with some mild soap on it until its clean. I stored this in my EdenFantasys toy pouch, which is the perfect size. It doesn't come with anything but the box to store it in, which won't offer it much protection.
The Venus Penis comes in a cardboard box and inside the box the toy is only in a plastic bag. There are no instructions that I could find on the box, or on a separate paper inside the box. The box is anything but discreet... it has a woman on the front wearing the toy. You can clearly see her pussy. It does come with the batteries you need for it. In fact it comes with two sets!

I really couldn't get over the tiny straps. I am a larger girl and they just didn't work out for me. It kind of ruined the vibe for me.

I know that jelly usually has quite a bit of drag so I'm wondering did you need to use any lube with this or is the "penis" small enough that it isn't necessary?

You definitely do NOT need any tube of lube. It slides easily and it is a very small "penis"
