A Mighty Big Wave!
This is one of the better rabbit vibrators I've tried in a long time, not perfect, but pretty darn good for the price range. It's solidly built with a powerful clitoral stimulator, so just relax and ride the waves of ecstasy!Published: June 10, 2011
Pros:
TPR Silicone Shaft, powerful clitoral stimulator, easy to clean and operate, splashproof.
Cons:
Long length, a few visible defects, noisy motor.
The Royal Surfer dual-action vibrator from California Exotics can at times be a wickedly challenging "wave" to ride! It's large, but not massive; however it's probably more than most beginners will probably be able to handle. I have a pretty high threshold for intensity and yet, the highest speed for the clitoral stimulator was a bit too much at times, unless I wanted to subject myself to it "crashing" down forcefully against my clit. It's also, befittingly enough, waterproof, although I prefer the term "splashproof".
The sleeve portion is made of TPR Silicone, which feels much like real silicone, but is a wee bit more porous because it is a compound of rubber and silicone; however, it's still a good option if price and an adequate safety rating are important to the buyer. The material is firm (not super hard but not squishy either) and smooth, with a substantial dry drag to it. I noted a very slight scent upon opening my package, which faded quickly.
At first I thought the 5-1/4inches of insertable length ( 10-inches total length) would be a breeze, but after a few sessions, I was wishing it were a wee bit shorter. It didn't hurt per say, but if I wanted to get the clitoral stimulator to reach is target, I had to get the toy in as deep as it would go. So be cautious if you are a "thruster/pounder". I'm a gentle "tapper"/"grinder", so I managed to get it to work.
The design is the typical dual-action design, with a large bullet motor beneath the cute dolphin disguise. This fellow looks as if he is jumping out of the water. The dolphin's face is detailed with tiny eyes and a smiling beak. On his backside is a large oval, presumably where the toy was sealed, in addition to a few other surface defects, not of which made the toy less functional. The main shaft is smooth across the topside, with a big smooth"wave" right under the dolphin. The tip is rounded, which I really like and makes the toy a bit more comfortable to use in spite of its size. On the underside of the toy (the part which would hit the back wall of the vagina) are 3 large ridges, but they didn't cause me any discomfort.
The lower 3 inches of the toy makes up of the plastic handle and control pad, which sits flush on top. There's a side to operate the rotation of the shaft and one side for the stimulator. They can be used independently or together. There are only 3 levels for each side: low, medium, and high. The highest rotation isn't anything special and has a small arc of rotation. The intensity of the clitoral stimulator is quite impressive though. High speed was almost too much to bear and is also quite loud. If you enjoy just using the rotating shaft, the noise is much quieter. The batteries are easily accessible by twisting off the bottom cap (waterproof seal present) and dropping out the battery tray.
Only a water-based lubricant should be used and the safest way to clean is with water and anti-bacterial soap. I buy the big gallon jugs of it at the warehouse club and get my money's worth on my toy collection! I'll probably just store it wrapped in a lint-free cloth in my toy drawer since the packaging is just a plastic clamshell.
Even though it was a little long, it's still a well-made toy with an awesome clitoral stimulator. The lack of too much texture is along most of the shaft is actually a good thing, making the overall experience of using such a long toy more pleasant.

This one still works like new and I still own it, so that says something for its usefulness. However, it's not my go-to vibe. I have yet to find a replacement for my beloved Eager Beaver. Don't get me wrong, this one is still good, but it's not ideal for my anatomy.

I am still new at all of this but I have always wanted to try a rabbit. It says that the royal surfer is one of the best. It's a little expensive like $55.00 or so. So do you think it's worth it?

I've never used it so I can't say if it is or not, but the reviews should help you out. :)

Thank you for viewing Royal surfer – g-spot and clitoral vibrator review page!

Good review! This looks like a really nice toy. I don't think I'd mind the length either. I tend to like longer toys.
Great review! I think the length will be ok for me so this one will be going on my must haves list
Thank you!
Nice review!! This looks way bigger than I was expecting!
great review
thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video!
For me, the length would be a pro, and the TPR would be a con. Great review, though.
