Lucid dream no. 5 - egg discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Lustydreamer

Lucid Dream no. 5 egg by Doc Johnson was my first time using an adult toy made out of jelly. At First, it was a good toy and pretty to look at.

When I buy something, it must pass the visual test and Lucid Dream no. 5 did pass. It was very bright and a very pretty yellow with nice packaging. I did not look closely to the box to notice that the toy was jelly. Call me A.D.D. but I guess I was too lost in the 'oooooo, pretty colors' mind set to notice the material. I did not fear though. If it was going to be my first toy made out of this material then I will have to give it a whirl.

I have always been a plastic girl but Lucid Dream has opened many other doors for me. I took it out of the box and thought to myself “how were the vibrations supposed to go through all this jelly and to my anxious body”. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could feel it. On the highest setting it was able to warm me up and get me in the mood for the grand finale.

Lucid Dreams for me was a warm-up band to some of my other toys, but it did that job well. It could of been a headliner if it was a bit stronger in the vibrations, (probably would of been a win with Lucid Dreams no. 5 if there was less jelly encasing the actual egg) and if the egg had other functions. I was very surprised when I acquired Lucid Dream no. 5 that the egg itself was so large and so it did not fit my body in any other fashion but a clit teaser.

The Lucid Dreams is one of my quieter vibrators, and its remote felt good in my hand. The remote control itself was above average for me as well. It was a simple remote, up and down. I myself hate it when I accidentally hit a button and it turns out to become something I do not enjoy at all. It was impossible for me in the heat of passion to knock a button on the remote and cause it to do something unexpected.

This is my first time using a jelly material ever, so it was very important to read about the material. After using Lucid Dreams no. 5, I understand more about why the care instructions are they way they are. It was not hard to clean by the instructions, but the jelly portion can not be sanitized by cleaning solution or by boiling. The level of cleanliness this toy could reach was a negative for me. I do not always share my toys but I like to make sure they are as clean as they possibly get. So if you are like me stay away from the Jelly material.

But Alas, Lucid Dreams no. 5 life was cut short unrepentantly. The wire, shortly after a couple uses acquired a short in it. The egg would only vibrate in a certain position which was okay with me for a little while, until –the- day. Shortly after getting started in an adventure with a lovely man in foreplay; the Lucid Dreams no. 5 let me down and let me down HARD. My lovely stroll to passion was climbing until it stopped working completely and suddenly, kicking my passion off of a cliff with a sudden drop. It would have had a great life in my home if the wire was not so poorly made.

Overall, I would not recommend it for seasoned toy connoisseurs because of the material, the strength of the vibrations and the longevity of its life. For a beginner, it was good for the experience.

Be gentle with the cord, especially where it enters the egg. In my experience even the weight of the egg can cause it to create a short.
