A Not So Shining Star...

All in all, personally I would stay away from it. Who knows though, maybe it's just me. If I was looking for something for anal play, this just might be it. I will do a follow up later on that.

Use

The Shiny G was designed for vaginal stimulation with a removable ring for clitoral play. Personally, I found it too thin for good vaginal play, and the ring wasn't much help at all. On the other hand, it is thin and long enough for anal use as well as prostate massage.

Material / Texture

The Shiny G is made of plastic that is pearl colored. It has a detachable ring that was designed for clitoral stimulation but did very little for me. It is definitely better for beginners, whether it is used for vaginal or anal play. The diameter is small and the ring makes it more pleasurable for anal use. I noticed no smell at all.

Design / Shape / Size

The design and shape would have been a lot better if the girth would have been larger. It is 7 1/4" long with 6 1/4" insertable length. It is only 5/8" in diameter. The detachable ring is made of silicone and a little tough to slide onto the smooth plastic. It uses two AAA batteries. I wasn't very impressed with it for the most part, but it looks like it would be better for anal use.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Shiny G has a dial controller with multi-speeds located on the bottom, and while the vibes themselves are alright, it just doesn't pack much of a punch. It is not too loud, but you can still hear it under covers. It is not waterproof. They really should have put a little more effort into this vibe.

Care and Maintenance

I always use a water based lube, but any lube should be fine with this toy. Whenever I can, I store my toys in the original packaging as I will with this one. Easy to clean, a little warm water and soap should suffice. Always remove batteries before storing to prolong the life of your vibrators.

Packaging

The Shiny G comes in a plastic container that is reusable to store it in when you aren't using it. It has minimal instructions on the packaging, however they aren't necessary. It is easy to use.

Personal comments

This would be good for a beginner or in my opinion, more for anal play. It is long enough not to get "lost" and has the detachable ring for safety that way. Other than that ehhh...I wouldn't bother.

Experience

I was disappointed. I ended up putting it away and grabbing a more trustworthy friend to finish the job. It would probably work for a beginner better. It is pretty though.

It looks interesting, but I also agree that it looks too thin. I wouldn't trust this for anal play if you've ever done anal play before... If it gets past your inner sphincter you're in big trouble.
