A Petite Powerhouse That's Pretty, Too!
This toy is great for the beginner or the experienced toy user! A one-speed vibe that provides fairly strong vibrations, the iVibe Pocket Rocket is a great clitoral stimulator! Small and compact, you can take it anywhere, or hide it anywhere! It's easy to incorporate into couple's play, and it's non-intimidating for first time toy owners, yet provides enough juice to satisfy experienced toy owners!Published: July 30, 2009
Pros:
Small, compact size, fairly strong vibrations, great for beginners.
Cons:
One speed, slightly loud.
The Pocket Rocket is a fairly well known and almost iconic vibrator. When I worked at an adult toy store, we sold a ton of these, both by our recommendations and because people would come in already having heard of the vibe. It was one of our best sellers and remains one of the most popular vibes on the market, and for good reason. The iVibe is Doc Johnson's version of a pretty pocket rocket, and is appealing for those that are scared of vibes.
The iVibe Pocket Rocket is a small clitoral vibe that takes one AA battery. For such a small toy, the sucker is STRONG. It definitely provides a good deal of stimulation, so if someone wanted a toy that provided more gentle stimulation, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one. It is not horribly quiet, but the sound of the TV or a thick blanket should be sufficient to smother the sound. It is a one-speed vibrator, so you don't have multiple speed options. Just twist the toy on and then back the other way for off. Just don't twist it too far or you will open the toy up!
The iVibe Pocket Rocket is also great for travel, or to keep in your purse for emergency use in your car or in the bathroom stall at work! It is so small that you can take it virtually anywhere you want. As for cleaning the toy, you have to be careful not to get water into the battery compartment. I used to have trouble cleaning the area right under the tip of the toy, where the tip and the body of the toy meet, until I discovered that simply working your fingernail gently into the groove will pop the tip of the toy off. Perfect!
The iVibe Pocket Rocket is great for first time toy owners, or for people looking for something to introduce into couple's play. It is a small vibe that is not intimidating, and it doesn't get inserted either. Therefore if you have never owned a toy, or have a friend who is kind of shy or freaked out by the concept of owning a vibrator, this is a great place to start. Likewise, if you have a partner who isn't too sure about incorporating a toy into your play, this would be a great first toy to try, as it won't get in the way and is a nice way to work towards something bigger and better (if that's your goal). Or if not, this little sucker may be all you ever need!

The only reason that I don't like this toy anymore is not really a fault of the toy itself, but more of a growing preference for stronger toys. It's still a great toy that many people will love, I just need a little more oomph now than I used to. The cap can be a pain to clean, and the battery compartment is a little frustrating to work, but I would never not recommend this toy to someone. It could be the perfect little thing for someone, just not for me.

what exactly are pocket rockets?
-
Pocket Rockets are small but powerful vibrators that unfortunately have a lifespan of about 60-90 total hours. The are inexpensive and worth the rpice for at least trying out.

Quote: what exactly are pocket rockets?Pocket Rockets are miniature vibrators that only work for a short amount of time, and they apply direct pinpoint stimulation to wherever you need it. It would be a nice basic toy for someone who is really sensitive to the slights vibrations.

Thank you for viewing iVibe pocket rocket review page!

What cleaning regime do you recommend with this product? A lot of people base their buying decisions on how easy a product is to keep clean and sanitary. Thanks for the heads up on the ease of removing the troublesome top piece.
Some people have found this to be a very intense toy...Was it numbing to you or just intense?
Thanks for the review!
Antibacterial soap and warm water, but put it on a washcloth or papertowel to avoid getting it in the battery compartment. Babywipes work well in hard to reach places as well.
It's a perfect intensity for me, but I am used to the Hitachi, which is like a power tool. I need a ton of stimulation, so it isn't an issue for me. I think it would be an appropriate intensity for most people unless you tend to be very sensitive.
If you really want gentle stimulation, I would recommend a jelly or soft silicone toy, as those materials will absorb some of the vibrations.
I see Airen Wolf already asked the question I had xD Well, good review
Thanks!
