I chose it because it claims to be both powerful and quiet and I generally trust Doc Johnson toys. The fact that it's plastic and works with any kind of lube was another plus. But I'm keeping it because...
It throbs.
It comes in your typical, plastic, hard to open adult toy packaging. Nothing fancy.
It doesn't look fancy, either; a cotton candy shade of pink, twist off end for battery insertion, a simple roller dial to adjust the speed. It takes three double A batteries that go in their own little harness inside the vibe and they are very easy to insert and remove for replacement.
Simple. Easy.
And then you turn it on. And the thing THROBS. It is absolutely not the normal type of vibration you get with most toys. If I set it down on my desk while it's turned on it actually throbs itself right off the desk. It doesn't just hum and buzz. It SHAKES in your hand.

So I still love this toy but I'm beginning to get aggravated by the way it chews up batteries. It seems to do it faster with every use, oddly enough, and it never takes me more than six, seven minutes to orgasm with this thing so that's a very quick drain in a very short time.

Nice review. And, it's hard plastic which is relatively nonporous but not sterilizable, so cover if sharing with a non-fluid bonded partner. Also, not safe for anal play (I know someone would want to try).

Still even for a battery hog it'd be great if you could count on a quick no fuss orgasm...
Six months later and I've actually tossed this one away. It was draining batteries at an alarming rate - to the point one set wouldn't even last/give enough strength for a single orgasm. Not only is that aggravating but it made me nervous. Draining three batteries that fast isn't normal for anything. I'm thinking using it is going to blow up the environment or something. Lol. So in the trash it went.
A shame, too, cuz the vibes were amazing.
