A Tiny Blossom For Your Pleasure

The Little Flower is a small vibrator which is ideal for gentle to moderate clitoral stimulation. It is reliably waterproof and fairly good quality. This is a basic vibrator that doesn't have a lot of frills, but does deliver where promised!

Use

The Little Flower is a mini traditional vibrator which is perfect for external stimulation in both solo and partner play. Because it has a small girth and is fairly short, it is not ideal for internal stimulation, other than very shallow teasing. Other external areas it can be used on are the nipples or taint; wherever you or your partner like! It's tempting to use the Little Flower for anal play because of it's small diameter. Use caution if you decide to try this though, as it does not have a flared base which is designed for safety in anal use. People looking a non-threatening, practical toy will enjoy the Little Flower as a basic clitoral vibrator.

Material / Texture

As a "velvety" plastic toy, the Little Flower passes all of my sensory tests: right out of the package, there are no manufacturing smells, tastes, or sticky residue. The matte finish gives this toy a soft, feminine feel which keeps the Little Flower from feeling cheap.

Either side of the small shaft has a vine and flower design molded into the plastic. The image is only very slightly raised which provides a pleasing aesthetic but can't be easily felt during use.

Design / Shape / Size

As far as a mini-traditional vibrator goes, the Little Flower hits the mark pretty well. Its small and unobtrusive design allows it to be easily stored virtually anywhere, or carried along in a bag or purse. The petite nature and straightforward design also make it suitable for those who do not have much experience with toys or who are looking for something smaller.

The single design draw-back as far as I can see is that the control button on the base bulges out slightly, which means that the Little Flower cannot stand up on end. Many users won't care, but some may prefer a flat base.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are two speeds of constant vibration offered by the Little Flower: low and high. The low setting is a gentle vibration which is nice for foreplay and might be preferred by users who are very sensitive to vibration. The high setting is more likely to be satisfying for most users, and necessary to achieve orgasm when used for clitoral stimulation.

The function is controlled with a single button on the base of the toy. From the off position, push the button once to turn on low, again to switch to high, and once more to turn it off. The button can be difficult to push in and you may have a try a few times to fully engage it.

The Little Flower is a waterproof toy which performs splendidly when exposed to moisture. The control button appears to be well sealed, and the battery case has a silicone gasket which you can feel tighten when you close the case. When fully submerged in water while running, the Little Flower continued flawlessly. After removing the toy from the water and drying off the outside, there were no signs of moisture inside the battery case.

Care and Maintenance

Hard plastic is a beautiful material because it can be used with virtually all types of lubricant. So take your pick, and get busy!

This hard plastic toy couldn't be easier to maintain. Take your pick of toy cleaners, wipes, or good old soap and water. The waterproof feature allows you to clean the toy without concern about moisture or suds entering the battery case or effecting the electronics.

Another nice feature of hard plastic is that it needs no special storage considerations. Just clean it off and stick it back in the drawer, bag, or box where you want to keep it.

Packaging

The Little Flower comes with low-budget, basic packaging. A small window in the front of the paperboard box reveals the toy inside. The box sports the same floral design that decorates the toy itself. While not designed for storage, the box could be kept and used to hold the toy when not in use. No instructions come in the box, but they're not necessary either.

It is 4" long and 3/4" in diameter. EF usually posts detailed measurements on the product page!

    • What's the best and most sanitary household soap that anyone's found? Is it bad to clean vibrators with regular body wash?
    • I imagine there are much worse things to clean a vibrator with than regular body wash, but a plain antibacterial soap is your best bet for simple cleaning. I use one of the scented Dial soaps, haven't had any problems yet.
    • I use watered down Bath and Body Works body wash. About one part wash and 8 to 10 parts water. I put it into a "foaming dispenser" and use it for everything from washing hands to washing toys. I have never had any material breakdown or problems.

Watered down Ivory is also good. I've also used Sliquid Splash in a pinch, watered down, too.

Antibacterial soap works for some people, but I get skin problems from it, eczema and dryness and occasionally even get a yeast infection from it, so I have to stay away from antibacterial soap.

I use Cal Exotics Toy Cleaner, but I wash my toys with soap and water after every cleaning with this stuff, as it contains the same ingredients as antibacterial soaps.
