When I received this, I was so excited at first. The packaging was simple. It was enclosed in a plastic enclosure that popped right open. Batteries are not included so make sure you have some on hand! It's a purplish blue color (which was a plus) and curved at the end. There are about three ribs below the curve that completed the look. It looks sleek and there are no flaws on the surface. It is coated with rubber. The texture felt like velvet to the touch, but The Illusion Seduction Wand is a hard toy. Despite the hardness I really wanted to give this a shot since it was my first g-spot vibe.

We put in the 2 double A batteries that it calls for and bounded off to the bedroom. The Illusion Seduction Wand has a push button control on the cap of the toy. We thought that was a cool feature, thinking each time you push the button that it would increase in strength. This was not the case. There is no control for the strength of the vibration at all. The level of the strength of the vibration, for this toy, was a 10 out of 10. While you can choose from 5 different patterns, you can not adjust the strength. This was a big turn off for me. I do not care for extremely high levels of vibrations. I found after 2 seconds it's not something I can use for clitoral climax at all. The material and strength of vibration was entirely way too hard for me to enjoy this externally. After experimenting with the hubby and finding the g-spot, I could only use it for maybe 10 seconds. It is simply too hard and not at all good for a beginner like myself. The patterns are wonderful though. It would be perfect if you could adjust the speed. The pulse is nice, the flutter could be fun, the multi (where it runs through them all) shows promise, and the last two were way too strong. They hurt my hand to even have them on.

Also, if you have children, The Illusion Seduction Wand is not a quiet toy. My daughter was at the door in 30 seconds asking what the noise was. Inserted into the vagina it was even loud. After the daughter incident we decided to move to the shower. We like to make sure that when something says waterproof it is waterproof. Let me tell you. It's waterproof. There was no issue with that at all. It was still loud in the shower and with water, instead of using lubrication, this is even worse. I am sure that if you love intense orgasms this would be good for you. It's for a more experienced g-spot vibe user. Please remember to wash and sterilize this item after use.
