The G-Spot Tulip by California Exotics is made for internal stimulation and the curved tip allows easy and comfortable g-spot access by pressing against the front of the vagina. There is plenty of length on the shaft so that it can be inserted more deeply for those with harder-to-reach g-spots but works for shallowly-placed ones as well. The angled tip also makes it convenient for use stimulating your nipples or clit, and due to the slender design it could be used fairly comfortably in your vagina while a partner stimulates you anally.

The waterproof feature of this toy makes it very convenient to use either in or out of the tub, and I have been looking forward to shower time a lot more lately.

Since the base is not flared, the G-Spot Tulip should not be used anally.

The G-Spot Tulip is made from ABS plastic which is food grade, pthalate-free, and nonporous. It has a safety rating of 8 and is reminiscent of silicone in the way that it feels. It has no taste or odor.

There isn't any texture- just velvety softness to the surface and the toy itself is firm and rigid, which delivers reliable g-spot stimulation without being at all rough.

There is a seam along this toy but it cannot be felt during use and there are no 'edges' to irritate you.

The G-Spot Tulip comes in both pink and purple, each in a light pastel color that is a good change from the intense neon-like colors I normally order toys in.

It is a long, slender toy about 8 inches in length. The bottom portion being the battery pack and the top being the curved 'bulb' of the Tulip. The bulb itself is a decent girth for most at about 4.5 inch circumference, but the shaft itself is only 3 inches around which may not provide enough stimulation for women who like a fuller feeling.

The Tulip is very light-weight and easy to conceal if you have to put it into your purse or overnight bag, and this makes storage convenient as well.

The Tulip runs on two AA batteries, which is very convenient and I love that you don't need to charge it- this toy comes nearly ready out of the package. The only thing that could be better is if it came with batteries.

The twist dial at the bottom controls the speed and strength of the vibrations, which means you can select from a whole range of intensity with this toy. The only issue I have with it is that the knob can easy get bumped by a soft touch, such as if it rubs against a blanket- that was a little frustrating to me, but if you position it so that the knob doesn't brush against anything it will be fine.

When you hold the toy in the open air it sounds much louder than it does once the vibrations are touched against skin or the Tulip is inside you. On the lower settings, a simple blanket will hush the noise but if you turn it all the way up you may want to have the TV on or some music playing if there is anyone nearby.

I used mine in the shower and found that it held up completely to the splashing of water and there were no effects on its use.

The smooth, nonporous plastic of this toy makes it a breeze to clean. Just wash off with soap and water or use your favorite toy cleaner. Since it hasn't got texture to it, there aren't any 'difficult bits' to sanitize.

You can use any lube you want with the Tulip, and due to it's slim design you probably won't need much to ease it in if you are naturally wet, unless playing in the bath or shower.

The G-Spot Tulip comes in a clear clamshell pack with an insert providing some very basic information about the toy (i.e. waterproof, vibrating, made by California Exotics). It's not discreet and isn't good for long term storage. There aren't any instructions included either, but thankfully the toy is very basic. All in all it was a pretty minimalist package.

While I did enjoy the varied settings and easy use of this toy, I would have preferred something a bit girthier. I am not a fan of very slender toys, but I found this one works nicely as a double-penetration toy when I use a non-vibrating dong and this one at the same time.
