A Vanity Affair

The Vr7 is an amazing vibrator for those looking for dual stimulation. The shaft rotates instead of vibrates, and the clitoral attachment is not shaped like an animal. It is rechargeable, waterproof, and is made of smooth, velvety silicone. It even locks, and comes with a storage pouch, making it great for travel.

Use

The Vanity Vr7 from Jopen is a rabbit style vibrator. It has a clitoral attachment which is non-animal in shape, and a rotating shaft meant to massage the G-spot. It is waterproof, so you can use it anywhere. There is an air bubble that protects the charging port when it is submerged under water. I’m sure it works very well, but I’m too nervous to use it in water. Plus it is a little bulky and I don’t like using large toys in the shower.

The Vr7 has a lot of power, but it can also be toned down for those who don’t need so much. Even on the highest settings, it is amazingly quiet, so if noise is an issue, you’ll be happy with this. Keep in mind that this is a rabbit style vibe, so it won’t work with everyone’s anatomy.

Material / Texture

The Vr7 is made of a beautiful matte silicone, and it feels very soft and velvety. The shaft is quite firm, and the clitoral stimulator is flexible. The entire toy is fuchsia, and covered in a smooth silicone with no ridges or bumps. The material has some drag, so some lubricant will help with insertion. Water based lube is best to use because silicone lube will degrade the silicone coat on this toy.

The shaft is slightly curved, and comes to a nice rounded tip for easy insertion. The clitoral stimulator points downwards, and comes to a nice rounded tip. There is a noticeable seam around the entire toy, and I can tell a two-cast system was used to put it together, but you can’t feel it in use.

Design / Shape / Size

If you left this out, most people will know it’s a sex toy. It is 8 1/4" long, with an insertable length of 5 inches. The circumference is 4 3/4" which may be enough to feel filling but not overwhelming.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There is a little bit of a learning curve when trying to figure out how to operate the Vr7. At least it was that way for me. It is operated by only two buttons. They are located on the base behind the clitoral stimulator. One button controls the rotation and the other controls the bullet. You have to hold down the buttons to increase each function, and a quick press of the button will turn each off. This type of operation makes it difficult to tell how many levels of vibration and rotation speeds there are, but they go very high. If the speed is too high, then you have to turn it back off and steadily increase it to the power you want. Depending on how you hold the toy, it is possible to accidentally press the buttons since they are so close to the base.

The vibrations from the clitoral stimulator are more on the buzzy side, but they do not diminish when you hold it against you. The rotating shaft can withstand clenching quite well. In my experience it has slowed down a little, but hasn’t completely stopped.

The Vr7 is rechargeable, and doesn’t take that long to charge. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge, and the light changes to white from red when completely charged. The charger plugs into the base of the toy, and I haven’t had any problems with it disconnecting.

You can use it for up to six hours, but I haven’t let the battery completely run out. The battery tends to slowly drain even when it is not being used, so charge it up if you plan on using it. Leaving the toy on the charger hasn’t damaged the battery.

Care and Maintenance

You can clean this toy with soap and water, or toy cleanser. If you share your toys, you can starolize it with a 10 percent bleech solution. Do not boil it since you can damage the motor inside.

You’ll want to keep this stored in the provided pouch so lint and other particles don’t stick to it. It also locks so it doesn’t turn on in storage. Just hold down both buttons for about 5 seconds, and do the same thing to unlock it.

Packaging

The Vr7 comes in a plain, sturdy cardboard box. The lid completely comes off and you find the Vr7 nestled in a cardboard cut-out, and beneath that you’ll find the charger, instructional booklet, and a velvety storage pouch that has Jopen written on it. The booklet gives you a list of their other products, and tells you how to use and care for the toy.

The pouch has a drawstring closure so I just keep the Vr7 in there and just tossed the box. There were no noticeable odors when I received this toy. I liked that they didn’t go completely over the top with the packaging, but still managed to provide you with everything you need.

Experience

I love the design of this dual stimulating vibrator. It didn’t work for me exactly as I hoped, but it is still flexible enough to reach all the right places. It is extremely powerful, and still manages to be very quiet, which I find great.

The shaft is really long, so I get mainly clitoral stimulation from this toy. The clitoral stimulator curves downwards, and I think it would work a lot better if it was straight, but it still gives a lot of pinpoint stimulation. I like that there’s no beads in the shaft, so you don’t get that strange bumpy feeling inside you.

For a long time I wanted to get something from this line, but had no idea what to choose, but I’m glad I settled on the Vr7. I recommend you take a look at anything from this line of products. They are very high quality, rechargeable toys that will last you a long time.

Follow-up commentary
The strength of this toy is just amazing. It is one that I pull out of my toy box quite often because I enjoy it so much. The charge lasts for a long time, and doesn't take long to recharge. I am truly impressed with the quality of this vibe.

  • Vr7 Vs Vr10-11-12
    • Can anyone tell me what the specific differences are between the Jopen line's Vr7 and Vr10, Vr11, and Vr12?

I have seen and held the Vr7, but not the others. I can see that the end is different, and that the shaft of the Vr7 appears to be smaller both in length and width, and that the small arm/ear portion of the vibe seems to be a somewhat different shape, and that the Vr10, 11, and 12 have a couple little ribs in the middle of the shaft.

And of course, the Vr10, 11, and 12 come with the little charging port stand thing.

Are there any other major differences? I saw a video somewhere where a girl was showing how you can adjust the flexibility or degree of rotation on the Vr10, and it didn't /seem/ like you could do that with the Vr7. Is this true? Are the vibrations different? Fewer settings? In terms of actual functioning?

I've also heard the silicone for some reason is different on some of the Vanity line, like the Vr3 apparently is more of a lint magnet than some of the others, or something? What have your experiences been with the Jopen silicone in that regard both with these toys specifically as well as any others in the Vanity line you may own or otherwise have experience with?
    • well I was looking for an answer to this question myself. looks like the community was unble to help in the last 5 months. :(
