The Large Soft Bullet by Shaki Toys is my first soft sleeved bullet. What I am accostumed to using for a bullet is very hard and unyielding so I thought it would be a nice change of pace to experience a softer version of an all time favorite of mine. I did not exactly know what to expect because the only 2 reviews at the time of this writing seemed to conflict as to whether this toy could be used both internally and externally. The product page, nor the box this bullet came with mention how it may be used at all. Looking at the length of the bullet sleeve it is reasonable to assume that it could be inserted, and it definitely can be. However, since little vibration can be felt in the hollow part, there is really not much reason to. Even so, internal vibration with the tip was not altogether a waste; as vibration was definitely felt up there, and some will enjoy it. The hollow portion; to me, is really best used as a handle to manipulate the tip around the clitoris, labia, and vulva. Can be used to tease the nipples or any sweet spots that you want teased. It is really quite comfortable to hold onto and feels soft, nonabrasive, and gentle on the clitoris.

I call this toy an egg/bullet because there is an egg placed into the tip of a soft TPR Silicone sleeve. The rest of the "bullet" is actually hollow. It may be vaginally inserted or not depending on your preferences, but most vibration is felt in the head of the toy. Not recommended for anal use, as it has no flared base and cord may easily dis-attach itself from the bullet, come out of the sleeve, and become lodged in the anus, requiring an emergency room visit. The sleeve/shaft of this toy is velvety soft and smooth. The hollow part of the sleeve is very flexible and may be folded, twisted and stretched much like a thicker uninflated balloon and will snap right back into shape when let go. The 5 1/4" long hollow sleeve has a 2" long, 4 1/4" in circumference, 1 1/4" in diameter sized bullet located inside the tip of the sleeve. There is a white plastic coated cord attached to the bottom of the bullet which has a plug-in jack on the end of it. This plugs into the bottom of the controller, which is 4 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide and made with hard plastic.

There are no instructions included with this toy, but the box states that the bullet is removable, making you think that it may be replaced, but unless you can find a bullet that features the same plug-in jack, the controller will not work with the unit. In fact, the bullet is removable by pushing it down toward the bottom of the sleeve and stretching the tiny 1/8" hole the full 4 1/2" width of the bullet and pushing it out. I did not take mine completely out; I just tested it enough to verify that it indeed would come out without tearing; and pushed the bullet back up to the tip. I'm not quite sure if it will work going in the opposite direction as easily; but when this bullet wears out, I will try it and let you know in a follow up review.


The box also states that the bullet is waterproof, and while the bullet and TPR sleeve very well may be, the cord and controller are not. The cord, at 12" long is not long enough to bring the whole unit into the shower or bath using the controller, and it is hard for me to keep the cord out of the water even while washing; so I do not consider this to be a good waterproof toy.


The Large Soft Bullet uses 3 AAA batteries which are inserted into the back of the controller by pushing down the arrows located there. Simply insert your batteries and push the plastic back up.

TPR Silicone material has a safety rating of 6. It is porous and may not be disinfected, so if sharing please use a condom to cover the sleeve. This material is actually a silicone based rubber compound that can be manipulated during manufacture into a variety of different textures and hardnesses. It is not to be confused with 100% silicone toys and must not be stored with them.
It may be cleaned with warm water and a mild soap. Dry with a lint free cloth, and store separately on its own in a cool dark place. It is recommended to wash before and after each use.
Use a water based lubrication only, as any other kind will break down this material.

The Large Soft Bullet has 7 levels of vibration, which is really very exciting in a bullet type toy.

Level 1. Soft, slow continuous vibration 1 vroom 1 bee
Level 2. Medium continuous vibration 2 vrooms 1 bee
Level 3. High continuous vibration 3 vrooms 1 bee
Level 4. A revving rollercoaster type vibration 3 vrooms 2 bees
Level 5. Fast continuous pulsation 3 vrooms 2 bees
Level 6. Double time fast continuous vibration 3 vrooms 2 bees
Level 7. High continuous vibration 3 vrooms 1 bee


Levels 3 and 7 are identical.
The functions are controlled by a simple vertical bar with each end slightly raised.

In order to start the functions; you must first press the on/off portion of the bar which is the bottom. Once the bullet is turned on; you may push the top portion of the bar to scroll down the functions. Pressing more than 7 times will repeat the cycle. The on/off may be pushed at any time to stop all vibration immediately. That is a great feature for unexpected interruptions or if you are inadvertently caught in play.

This velvety feeling bullet is really quiet and will be ideal for those with limited privacy as it will not be heard beyond a closed door.

One thing I was surprised to see is total nudity on the box. It features a totally nude woman with neatly trimmed pubic hair standing beside a stripper pole on both sides of the box. So it is not discreet at all. I would throw the box away and store it in a plastic zip lock bag. There is little information on the box so you will not need it for directions. There were no instructions inside the box either, but was pretty easy to figure out.

I do not find myself using this toy at all anymore. It isn't very strong, or exciting to me. It would probably suit someone who does not need the power force that I do in order to orgasm.
