Can Hitachi attachments fit the Mystic Wand?

It's lighter weight, so I'm more inclined to buy it than the Hitachi, but mainly want it to use attachments. Anyone know?

I think this is a good question -
I doubt it - the head is relatively compact. Smaller I believe than the Hitachi - but I don't own one, so I can't be sure.

I'm so torn on this one. I don't own the Hitachi - I think I shortly will considering the 35% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket - but this is probably a lot more practical for me. No having to use an adaptor, small, lighter etc. I just want to try the original first!
